REVEALED: Rep. Adam Schiff Met With Former Chairman Of Chinese Communist Party’s Foreign Influence Operations.

Rep. Adam Schiff met with a Chinese Communist Party official previously responsible for spearheading the regime’s foreign influence operations on a visit to Washington, D.C. sponsored by the China-United States Exchange Foundation, The National Pulse can reveal.

The foundation, known as ‘CUSEF’ for short, has been flagged by the U.S. government for seeking to “influence foreign governments to take actions or adopt positions supportive of Beijing’s preferred policies.”

A key promoter of the Trump-Russia collusion hoax and leading member of the unconstitutional January 6th committee, Rep. Schiff met with officials from the documented Chinese Communist Party-linked foreign influence group in October 2009.

Schiff recently turned his attention to former Trump campaign chief Steve Bannon, a known “China hawk,” raising questions as to whether or not the Congressman for California’s 28th Congressional district is working to neutralize critics of the Chinese Communist Party.

The China-United States Exchange Foundation’s (CUSEF) website reveals it “sponsored the visit” of Chinese Communist Party official Xu Kuangdi to the U.S., including a stop in Washington, D.C.

The former Mayor of Shanghai, Xu also served as the Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference, the “highest-ranking entity overseeing” China’s controversial “United Front Work Department.”

The United Front has been described by the U.S. government as a comprehensive foreign influence operation that Beijing uses to “co-opt and neutralize sources of potential opposition to the policies and authority of its ruling Chinese Communist Party” and “influence foreign governments to take actions or adopt positions supportive of Beijing’s preferred policies.”

Beyond Xu’s leadership role within the United Front, his trip sponsor CUSEF functions as one of several United Front groups weaponized by the Chinese Communist Party to target American elites.

Tennis star Peng Shuai disappears following sexual assault accusations

A Chinese tennis star who publicly accused a top former Politburo official of forcing her to have sex has vanished — as international sports officials demanded her accusations be fully investigated.

Peng Shuai, a onetime No. 1-ranked doubles player, has not been seen or heard from in about 10 days — or a few days after she wrote a lengthy social-media post alleging sex assault by an elderly married former vice premier of China.

Supporters who are worried about the 35-year-old player’s safety have rallied online using the Twitter hashtag #WhereIsPengShuai.

“Yes, these accusations are very disturbing,” 18-time Grand Slam winner Chris Evert tweeted Sunday. “I’ve known Peng since she was 14; we should all be concerned; this is serious; where is she? Is she safe? Any information would be appreciated.”

French tennis player Nicolas Mahut added, “The fact that Peng Shuai is missing is not only the [World Tennis Association]’s problem.

“We are all concerned,’’ he wrote.

WTA Chairman and CEO Steve Simon said in a statement released Sunday that “Peng Shuai, and all women, deserve to be heard, not censored. “Her accusation about the conduct of a former Chinese leader involving a sexual assault must be treated with the utmost seriousness. In all societies, the behavior she alleges that took place needs to be investigated, not condoned or ignored,’’ he said.

“We commend Peng Shuai for her remarkable courage and strength in coming forward,’’ Simon added. “Women around the world are finding their voices so injustices can be corrected.

“We expect this issue to be handled properly, meaning the allegations must be investigated fully, fairly, transparently and without censorship.”

The release of the statement followed widespread criticism of the WTA’s silence up till that time on Peng’s allegations.

Peng has claimed that Zhang Gaoli — a retired member of China’s ruling Communist Party’s all-powerful Politburo Standing Committee — and his wife arranged to play tennis in Beijing with her about three years ago.

FBI Director Wray Walked Back School Board Threats In October Speech

Despite Wray's alleged comments, Merrick Garland has refused to rescind his October 4 memorandum

According to a report from the Daily Caller, FBI Director Christopher Wray said FBI agents “would not be attending school board meetings” during an October speech. Wray “made it clear” that agents would not be infiltrating school board meetings and that the Bureau “would stay in its own lane”, a former FBI agent who watched the speech told the Daily Caller. The speech came just a couple weeks after U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland announced he would be forming task forces across multiple organizations, including the FBI, in order to combat threats from “domestic terrorists,” which is how he characterized parents voicing their concern at school board meetings.

Cecil Moses, a retired FBI special agent and former police chief in Alabama, attended the national conference for the Society of Former Special Agents of the FBI in Scottsdale Arizona last month. Wray reportedly met with former agents on October 22 and assured them the FBI would not be monitoring school board meetings. “He made it clear he didn’t want it to be any misconception, that there’s going to be FBI agents out there looking over the shoulder of parents or monitoring school board meetings and the like,” Moses told the Daily Caller. “He made the comment that the Bureau will stay in his own lane and I think that’s a very, very cogent comment.”

AG Garland issued a memorandum on the subject on October 4 at the urging of the National School Boards Association (NSBA). In a September 29 letter, the group implored the Biden administration to use federal law enforcement in order to investigate and prosecute parents who voiced their displeasure at public school board meetings. The NSBA suggested that said parents “could be” guilty of “domestic terrorism” and asked for “joint collaboration among federal law enforcement agencies” in order to address “these threats.”

Following intense backlash over the letter and Garland’s subsequent action, the NSBA apologized for and disavowed the letter. Several states have already opted to distance themselves from the NSBA following the incident, however, including Alabama, Wisconsin and Kentucky, among others. Several other states are reportedly mulling similar moves, including Arizona, where 22 state legislators signed a letter urging the Arizona School Boards Association to end their affiliation with the NSBA. In the U.S. House, 19 Republican Reps. signed a letter demanding that Merrick Garland withdraw his memorandum and end any task forces associated with monitoring parents at school board meetings.

Despite Wray’s comments and backlash against the PSBA, Garland has refused to rescind his letter. Some parents have alleged that FBI agents have already been monitoring them and infiltrating their circles. In Fairfax County, Virginia, a mother said federal agents had monitored her local school board meeting after she and other parents protested outside the Department of Justice following Garland’s directives.

Windows 10 is a security disaster waiting to happen. How will Microsoft clean up its mess?

When Windows 10 hits its end-of-support date in 2025, hundreds of millions of PC owners will have four options, none of them good.

In less than four years, Microsoft will draw the final curtain on Windows 10 after a 10-year run.

That news shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. The end date is defined as part of Microsoft's Modern Lifecycle Policy, and it's documented on the Microsoft Lifecycle page: "Microsoft will continue to support at least one Windows 10 Semi-Annual Channel until October 14, 2025."

When a Windows version reaches its end-of-support date, the software keeps working, but the update channel grinds to a halt:

[There] will be no new security updates, non-security updates, or assisted support. Customers are encouraged to migrate to the latest version of the product or service. Paid programs may be available for applicable products.

Ho-hum stuff, right? I mean, this sort of thing has happened before, and the world didn't come to an end. Windows XP got a multi-year support extension before it was allowed to die with dignity at the ripe old age of 13.

Likewise, Windows 7 hit end-of-support at the start of 2020, mostly without incident. Microsoft's customers grumbled but found upgrade paths. Microsoft even offered free app remediation services for enterprise customers who encountered compatibility issues.

But in both of those instances, Microsoft could implore its customers to fix the problem by upgrading to a newer version of the Windows operating system.

Read that part again: "Customers are encouraged to migrate to the latest version of the product or service." That's not an option for customers running Windows 10 on hardware that doesn't meet the stringent hardware compatibility requirements of Windows 11. When October 2025 rolls around, those devices will have no Microsoft-supported migration path to a newer version. The owners of those perfectly functional PCs, some less than five years old, will instead have the following options:

Continue running the unsupported operating system and hope for the best

Retire or dispose of the unsupported hardware

Install a non-Microsoft operating system, such as Linux

Ignore Microsoft's warnings and upgrade to Windows 11 anyway

Option 1 is unwise. Option 2 is unconscionable. Option 3 is unlikely.

That leaves only the fourth option, which comes with Microsoft's own supersized portion of Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt (FUD) in the form of a support bulletin titled "Installing Windows 11 on devices that don't meet minimum system requirements."

That document packs a lot of FUD into just a few paragraphs:

Installing Windows 11 on a device that does not meet Windows 11 minimum system requirements is not recommended. If you choose to install Windows 11 on ineligible hardware, you should be comfortable assuming the risk of running into compatibility issues.

Your device might malfunction due to these compatibility or other issues. Devices that do not meet these system requirements will no longer be guaranteed to receive updates, including but not limited to security updates.

EU Imposes New Sanctions on Syrian Government Ministers

The European Union on Monday imposed sanctions on four ministers recently appointed to the Syrian government, blaming them for playing a role in the continued repression on civilians in the war-torn country.

Asset freezes and travel bans in Europe were imposed on the four, who include the ministers for internal trade, information and labor.

The four ministers were accused of sharing “responsibility for the Syrian regime´s violent repression of the civilian population,” the EU said.

The new sanctions bring the number of people in Syria targeted by EU measures to 287. A further 70 “entities,” including organizations, banks and companies, are also on the blacklist, typically for benefiting from their ties with the regime.

The EU first started imposing the sanctions in 2011. The measures also include a ban on oil imports, investment restrictions, a freeze on central bank assets held in the EU, and export limits on equipment and technology that could be used to crack down on civilians or monitoring their phones and internet.

More important than the actual conversations, the FBI admits, is the duration of calls and frequency of communication.

Somehow two Israeli companies, Amdocs Ltd and Verint Inc, (formerly Comverse Infosys), control all the call records and billing data of 90% of all the phone calls made in the U.S.

Both Israeli companies are subsidized by the Israeli-government.

The Israeli government also sponsors the NSO Group, the Israeli company creates products specifically for cyber-burglary.

They own and license the “zero-click” cyber-attack software Pegasus.

Pegasus can hack a mobile device with only a phone call, whether you answer it or not: “zero-click”.

This software can access all the data on the device, track and locate the user, and control the camera and microphone functions remotely.

The Israeli cyber weapon was used in the assassination of Saudi Arabian journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

Supplying the Israeli Military Technology Industry with U.S. tax dollars makes us complicit in the human rights abuses that the Israelis either directly commit or support through their absurdly lucrative Weapons Export Industry.

Second Court Ruling Affirms Halt on Biden Vaccine Mandate, Calls It 'Staggeringly Overbroad'

An appeals court on Friday put the vaccine mandate imposed on large employers by the Biden administration on pause until it can be fully litigated.

A three-judge panel of the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals — the same court that last week cited “grave statutory and constitutional” concerns about the mandate in first putting it on hold — issued its ruling on Friday after consolidating a number of suits into one decision.

The panel includes one judge who was appointed by former President Ronald Reagan and two appointed by former President Donald Trump, according to The Washington Post.

Under the mandate, employers with at least 100 employees must require workers to either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or tested weekly.

The ruling said the stay is required because the private companies suing over the mandate would face severe harm if it is allowed to remain in force as the lawsuits move forward.

“The Mandate imposes a financial burden upon them by deputizing their participation in [the Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s] regulatory scheme, exposes them to severe financial risk if they refuse or fail to comply, and threatens to decimate their workforces (and business prospects) by forcing unwilling employees to take their shots, take their tests, or hit the road,” the judges wrote in their opinion.

They also suggested that the mandate was an example of vast federal overreach.

“The Occupational Safety and Health Act, which created OSHA,” the judges wrote, “was not … intended to authorize a workplace safety administration in the deep recesses of the federal bureaucracy to make sweeping pronouncements on matters of public health affecting every member of society in the profoundest of ways.”

The panel expressed doubts that the mandate was constitutional and went on to thoroughly trash it.

“On the dubious assumption that the Mandate does pass constitutional muster — which we need not decide today — it is nonetheless fatally flawed on its own terms,” the judges wrote.

“Indeed, the Mandate’s strained prescriptions combine to make it the rare government pronouncement that is both overinclusive (applying to employers and employees in virtually all industries and workplaces in America, with little attempt to account for the obvious differences between the risks facing, say, a security guard on a lonely night shift, and a meatpacker working shoulder to shoulder in a cramped warehouse) and underinclusive (purporting to save employees with 99 or more coworkers from a ‘grave danger’ in the workplace, while making no attempt to shield employees with 98 or fewer coworkers from the very same threat).”

The panel poked holes in the idea that the mandate was necessary as an emergency measure.

Bayer executive: mRNA shots are ‘gene therapy’ marketed as ‘vaccines’ to gain public trust

The president of Bayer’s Pharmaceuticals Division told international “experts” during a globalist health conference that the mRNA COVID-19 shots are indeed “cell and gene therapy” marketed as “vaccines” to be palatable to the public.

Oelrich told his fellow international “experts” from academia, politics, and the private sector that the novel mRNA COVID “vaccines” are actually “cell and gene therapy” that would have otherwise been rejected by the public if not for a “pandemic” and favorable marketing.

“We are really taking that leap [to drive innovation] – us as a company, Bayer – in cell and gene therapies … ultimately the mRNA vaccines are an example for that cell and gene therapy. I always like to say: if we had surveyed two years ago in the public – ‘would you be willing to take a gene or cell therapy and inject it into your body?’ – we probably would have had a 95% refusal rate,” stated Oelrich.

“Our successes over these 18 months [the duration of the COVID ‘pandemic’] should embolden us to fully focus much more closely on access, innovation and collaboration to unleash health for all, especially as we enter, on top of everything else that is happening, a new era of science – a lot of people talk about the Bio Revolution in this context,” continued the businessman.

According to the McKinsey Global Institute, the “Bio Revolution” is “a confluence of advances in biological science and accelerating development of computing, automation, and artificial intelligence [that] is fueling a new wave of innovation. This Bio Revolution could have significant impact on economies and our lives, from health and agriculture to consumer goods, and energy and materials.”

In addition to gene therapy and a biological “revolution,” Oelrich also mentioned the role his company has, along with other prominent institutions and figures, in pushing contraception on developing countries.

“We also need to focus on what is socially responsible outside of Europe and ensure sustainable action there. We pledged, this past year, to give an additional hundred million women access to contraception in the world. We’ve invested 400 million this year into new plants that are dedicated to produce long-acting contraceptives for women in low-and-middle income countries … Together with Bill and Melinda Gates we’re working very closely on family planning initiatives,” said Oelrich, implying one of the methods of attaining a “sustainable” world is by reducing births, and subsequently reducing the planet’s population.

Oelrich’s words echo a similar agenda as the infamous “Great Reset,” a radical socialist plan designed by globalist elites, gathering at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland once a year, which “seeks to ‘push the reset button’ on the global economy.”

In the announcement of the Great Reset initiative, the WEF also credited the COVID-19 “pandemic” for putting them in an advantageous position to march towards their global revolutionary goals.

“COVID-19 lockdowns may be gradually easing, but anxiety about the world’s social and economic prospects is only intensifying. There is good reason to worry: a sharp economic downturn has already begun, and we could be facing the worst depression since the 1930s. But, while this outcome is likely, it is not unavoidable,” wrote the WEF’s founder Klaus Schwab in June 2020.

But, “one silver lining of the pandemic is that it has shown how quickly we can make radical changes to our lifestyles. In the memo, the agents purportedly apologized for endorsing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris and for conducting “clandestine, illicit” operations against American patriots.

A source in Gov. DeSantis’s office told RRN that the agents’ words of contrition included details on how the Democrats stole the 2020 presidential election, and how they plan to steal the 2024 election regardless of which Republican candidate survives the primaries. Moreover, the letter suggested that the administration, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky, and Deep State Dr. Anthony Fauci are currently coordinating with foreign governments on an agenda to impose permanent lockdowns both in the U.S. and Western Europe.

Gov. DeSantis, he said, met the letter with suspicion.

The footer of the letter said other Republican governors were copied on it, so hopefully they’re viewing it with scrutiny, too. For so many agents to suddenly defect and say ‘hey, we want to come work for the good guy’ is just unrealistically unbelievable,” our source said.

Further, the letter intoned that even a greater number of agents had considered defecting, but changed their minds for fear of agency retaliation. A half-dozen agents went “off the reservation” or rogue, in response to vaccine mandates—terms that describe tenured spies who simply vanish off the grid.

Klaus Schwab's School For Covid Dictators, Plan for 'Great Reset'

Economist Ernst Wolff believes that a hidden alliance of political and corporate leaders is exploiting the pandemic with the aim of crashing national economies and introducing a global digital currency.

Mysterious Beginnings

The story begins with the World Economic Forum (WEF), which is an NGO founded by Klaus Schwab, a German economist and mechanical engineer, in Switzerland in 1971, when he was only 32. The WEF is best-known to the public for the annual conferences it holds in Davos, Switzerland each January that aim to bring together political and business leaders from around the world to discuss the problems of the day. Today, it is one of the most important networks in the world for the globalist power elite, being funded by approximately a thousand multinational corporations.

The WEF, which was originally called the European Management Forum until 1987, succeeded in bringing together 440 executives from 31 nations already at its very first meeting in February 1971, which as Wolff points out was an unexpected achievement for someone like Schwab, who had very little international or professional experience prior to this. Wolff believes the reason may be due to the contacts Schwab made during his university education, including studying with no less a person than former National Security Advisor and Secretary of State Henry Kissinger. Wolff also points out that while Schwab was there, the Harvard Business School had been in the process of planning a management forum of their own, and it is possible that Harvard ended up delegating the task of organizing it to him.

The Forum initially only brought together people from the economic field, but before long, it began attracting politicians, prominent figures from the media (including from the BBC and CNN), and even celebrities.

As the push for 5G mounts we are bombarded with compelling advertising campaigns to make us believe that we need more cell towers to provide infrastructure for more wireless devices and wearable devices, even for infants. This is despite the lack of scientific research on safety of this technology and growing evidence of harm.

Although seemingly convenient, there are a host of privacy, security as well as health issues to consider in a wireless world. This is largely a manufactured need. Industry admits that 5G is driven by supply, not demand. The research on harmful effects of 5G has not kept up with industries “Race to 5G”, however, newer articles highlight the dangers. Nasim and Kim (2019) discuss the human exposure to wireless wearable devices that are placed close to the skin and show that “specific absorption rate (SAR) at 60 GHz can exceed the regulatory guidelines.”

Fitness Trackers: Are They Smart…or Distracting and Dangerous?

While many are rushing out to buy the latest upgrade of fitness trackers and “smart” watches, others are retiring them. Providing far more information than just the time, people are finding this technology is distracting, pulling them into a virtually connected world and disconnecting them from the real physical world. There are also real health and security concerns with their use. While there are no scientific studies specifically on extremity wearable wireless devices and links to cancer or other adverse health effects, this technology does operate with wireless frequencies commonly used with bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G and 4G signals, demonstrated to be bioactive. Many people in the FitBit Community are reporting dizziness, headaches and nausea when wearing the device. There is abundant research confirming that real risks do exists, including an increasingly recognized condition called electrosensitivity, with similar non-specific symptoms with exposure to wireless devices. Fitbit Recalled Due to Health Complaints

About 10,000 Fitbit Force users complained to the Consumer Product Safety Commission about wrist rashes, blisters and burning sensations thus promoting a recall of all the Fitbit Force devices according to a CNN report. The company has attributed this to a nickel or other chemical allergic reaction. These trackers are used to improve health.

"We [Russia] don’t even have an approximate impression that [the US] even wants to listen to us and to hear us - for example, on Ukraine and all that is currently going on in the Black Sea region," the senior diplomat emphasized. "A negative energy is being accumulated there, the risks are growing, including potential clashes, with the possibility of escalation," he added.

The deputy foreign minister explained that the policy of Western countries, responsible for Kiev’s actions, becomes even more reckless and provocative. "In general, this negative bravado of the US and its allies and, accordingly, their charges in Kiev - it becomes increasingly more unhinged. Any rational kernels are being observed there less and less. It is permeated both with the provocative rhetoric with regards to us and the material content - also very much so provocative," he concluded.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with the Russia-1 TV channel noted that the US and its NATO allies were conducting unscheduled drills in the waters of the Black Sea using strategic aviation and called it a "serious challenge" for Russia. Thousands of Massachusetts Parents Pull Kids From ‘Woke’ Sex Ed Classes

Sex ed curriculum has received $26 million in federal funding

Thousands of Massachusetts parents opted their children out of a federally funded sex education curriculum that teaches kindergartners about genitalia.

Worcester Public Schools this week announced that 13 percent of its students opted out of sex education, including 20 percent of K-4 students. The "Rights, Respect, Responsibility," or "3Rs," curriculum teaches elementary students about gender identity and instructs high school students to act out scenes in which gay and transgender couples decide to have sex. The curriculum's authors include one current and one former Planned Parenthood employee. It is published by Advocates for Youth, a progressive group that since 1995 has received $26 million from the Centers for Disease Control.

Progressive advocacy groups are escalating efforts to expand sex education curricula to elementary schools and cover controversial issues such as gender identity and abortion. Commonly known as "comprehensive sex education," this approach has angered parents, many of whom have flocked to school boards to oppose curricula.

The Worcester School Committee in May adopted the 3Rs curriculum following hours of heated debate between parents and activists. Worcester parents are able to remove their children from sex education lessons through an online opt-out form. Worcester Public Schools did not respond to a request for comment.

One of the parents leading this effort was Shanel Soucy, a single mother of three who had her first child when she was 15 and homeless. She says she opted her children out of the curriculum because it would not have helped her make better decisions as a child.

"We're encouraging sex as being a way to cope in life," Soucy told the Free Beacon. "It's so dangerous. So many of these kids are developing habits that are carried out longterm."

More than 3,000 of the district's 23,000 students have opted out of sex education. Megara Bell, director of Partners in Sex Education, on Monday told the Worcester Board of Health that in her two decades of work on sex education, only eight parents in the area had opted their children out of sex education.

Area religious groups have lined up against the effort. Worcester bishop Robert McManus in September urged Catholic parents to opt out their children. Dozens of Worcester churches provided opt-out forms to their congregations, according to the Massachusetts Family Institute. Elise Almeyda, a Worcester pastor, says the curriculum will confuse children and enrich groups like Planned Parenthood.

"They want to sexualize kids at a very young age," Almeyda told the Washington Free Beacon. "There's definitely an agenda in the decisions being made. This is robbing the future of our kids."

Anti-vaxx protests outside Jewish lawmaker's office show Nazi symbols

Protesters at an anti-vaxx demonstration at a Kansas government hearing wore a yellow star as a display against recent COVID-19 mandates.

Some protesters at an anti-vaxx demonstration in the Bronx, New York, displayed Nazi symbols outside the office of Jewish politician Jeffrey Dinowitz on Sunday, multiple sources reported.

One photo shows a protester holding a sign with a swastika symbol with the words "Crimes Against Humanity" written next to it. Another wore a yellow Star of David on his jacket to protest the fact that he is not vaccinated.

"The display of swastikas and yellow Stars of David outside my office today is repugnant and offensive," Dinowitz tweeted. "People are perfectly free to express their opinion on vaccines or any issue, but to openly display Nazi symbols outside the office of a Jewish legislator is despicable."

Dinowitz represents District 81 in the New York State Assembly.

The demonstration, organized by former state governor candidate Rob Astorino, was to protest a state bill that Dinowitz sponsored that would require students in New York State to be vaccinated to attend classes, according to the New York Post.

Dinowitz noted that vaccinations to attend school are nothing new, as "the fact that children have to get the vaccinations for measles, mumps, rubella, etc. – that's a mandate," he said on News 12.

Making Another ISIS in Afghanistan. ISIS-K in Khorasan Province

With the United States out of Afghanistan, former members of the Afghan Security Forces who were once trained by the United States are joining Islamic State-Khorasan Province, better known as ISIS-K, the Islamic State’s regional affiliate. The result is all too predictable given America’s track record of inadvertently aiding the creation of extremist groups in the Middle East.

As it stands now, the number of former members of the Afghan Security Forces joining up with ISIS-K remains small, but it is growing, according to both Taliban fighters and other former members of the Afghan Security Forces.

One former Afghan official told the Wall Street Journal that an officer who commanded the Afghan National Army’s weapons and ammunition depot in Gardez joined ISIS-K after the Afghan army became defunct, and was killed last month in a firefight with the Taliban. The official also said he knows several other members of the Afghan Security Forces who joined ISIS-K after the Taliban searched their homes and ordered them to present themselves to Taliban authorities once the Taliban took control of the country.

The Wall Street Journal also spoke to a resident of Qarabagh in the Ghazni province who said his cousin, previously a member of the Afghan army’s special forces, disappeared in September shortly after the U.S. withdrawal and has joined an ISIS-K cell. The Qarabagh man also said he knows four other former Afghan National Army soldiers who enlisted in ISIS-K in the past few weeks.

ISIS-K became known throughout the world when a suicide bomber killed 13 U.S. service members and approximately 200 Afghans in an attack near the Kabul airport as the United States was completing its withdrawal in August.

Created in 2014 by former Taliban militants who were dissatisfied with potential peace talks and sought to take more drastic measures to fight the United States, ISIS-K has thus far played relatively a minor role in the network of extremist organizations operating in Afghanistan. Their relegation was a result of choosing both the Taliban and the United States as their enemies, as the nascent extremist outfit was ill-equipped to defend its territorial holdings in eastern Afghanistan, which the Taliban took from them in 2015.

Even though its footprint is limited, ISIS-K has made a name for itself for its incredible brutality. Beyond the suicide bombing in August, ISIS-K claimed responsibility for bombings at Shiite mosques in Kunduz and Kandahar that killed more than 100. Beyond military, political, and religious targets, ISIS-K has perpetrated attacks at schools and hospitals. In one attack, the group allegedly went through a maternity ward and shot nurses and pregnant women to death.

However, the challenge ISIS-K poses to the Taliban, much less the United States, should not be overstated. For the time being, ISIS-K does not have the fighting force or capability to mount a real challenge to the Taliban’s control of Afghanistan. The Taliban seems to recognize this and, although they likely still view the group as a security concern, has rebuffed claims that suggested ISIS-K could be a threat to their regained power. While the United States should continue to monitor the actions of ISIS-K in Afghanistan and Pakistan for potential security concerns, the threat it poses to the American homeland should not be exaggerated just because it bears the Islamic State’s name.

"Poor diet and stress during the pandemic are likely to have caused a spike in heart attacks in Scotland, according to a leading heart specialist who said there was an outside chance that Covid-19 vaccinations had played a part," the Times timidly reported.

Aseem Malhotra, a cardiologist and chairman of the Public Health Collaboration, a charity, noted how in war zones heart attacks and strokes often increased among civilians after the conflict had ended. He suggested that the impact of the pandemic might be creating a similar phenomenon, helping to explain a surge in heart attacks caused by partially blocked arteries in the west of Scotland, after lockdowns this year.

Around the world, governments, schools, and corporations are instituting mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policies for their employees, all in the name of “safety in the workplace.”

Countries are ramping up the pressure and taking ever-more-extreme measures to ensure compliance. In Canada, for instance, the government is mandating not only all federal employees but also all Canadian citizens be “fully vaccinated” in order to travel on a Canadian registered train, ship, or aircraft—a directive that violates sections 6 and 7 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

In a growing number of European nations, the crackdown is just as severe.

In September 2021, Italy became the first European country to announce the implementation of the mandatory COVID-19 “health pass,” dubbed the “Green Pass,” for all workers, both public and private.

Meanwhile, the French government, employing the fictitious pretext of a “fifth wave,” has rolled out the latest round of strict vaccine mandates by tying its existing vaccine passport to COVID booster shots for people aged 65 and older. If any person in this age group does not receive the booster shot by December 15, he will no longer be permitted to enter public spaces such as theaters, restaurants, gyms, and concert halls.

Even more extreme, the German state of Hesse allows businesses to deny customers who opt out of vaccination access to basic necessities—including food and other essentials for living.

Lithuania is perhaps one of the worst-case scenarios in Europe. Though you might think it was done with tyranny after breaking away from the Soviet Union and restoring its pre-WWII independence in 1990, that assumption would be wrong. For, even though the tiny country experienced no “pandemic” of any note in 2020 and its government initially went easy on the populace, Lithuania abruptly abandoned that approach after globalists manufactured a regime change this fall. The trillion-dollar question is: Are these vaccine mandates and passports really about public safety—or do they have an underlying agenda entirely unrelated to health?

Pretending to be concerned about preventing the spread of a supposedly contagious disease, vaccine manufacturers have been telling us for months that the gene-editing injections are safe and effective at reducing both the transmission of COVID-19 and the severity of its symptoms.

The data coming out of highly vaccinated countries, though, tells a far different story. Results in Israel, Gibraltar, Malta, Singapore, and Iceland suggest that the vaccinated are not immune to either contracting or transmitting COVID-19, nor are they being saved from hospitalization or from death caused by this disease. Climate Pollution from Plastics to Outpace Coal Emissions in US by 2030, Report Finds

The petrochemical industry has found a new market for fossil fuels: Plastics.

With dozens of new plastics manufacturing and recycling facilities in the works, the U.S. plastics industry will release more greenhouse gas emissions than coal-fired power plants by 2030, say the authors of a new report.

Emissions from the plastics sector equaled that of 116 coal-fired power plants last year, according to the report out Thursday from Bennington College’s Beyond Plastics project. Meanwhile, 42 plastics manufacturing and recycling facilities have opened, or are in the process of being built or permitted, since 2019.

“As the world transitions away from fossil fuels for electricity generation and for transportation, the petrochemical industry has found a new market for fossil fuels: plastics,” Judith Enck, president of Beyond Plastics, told reporters on Thursday.

With the U.S. coal industry in decline, the report authors say policymakers at home and at the upcoming COP26 climate summit, a conference happening at the end of month where world leaders will hash out the details of climate pledges, need to factor the climate toll of plastics into emissions reductions efforts.

“Leaving out plastics is leaving out a giant piece of the problem,” Enck said. “We would like the national leaders that are gathering in Glasgow, Scotland, to take the plastics issue just as seriously as they are taking transportation and electricity generation.”

Climate costs of U.S. plastics

The report authors calculated emissions from 10 stages of plastics production, from hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, for the raw material—ethane in natural gas—all the way up to burning waste in incinerators.

Cracker plants, where natural gas is heated at such high temperatures that it fractures into plastic building blocks like ethylene, have the heaviest emissions toll, producing around 70 million tons of carbon dioxide-equivalent pollutants, which is equal to the emissions of 35 coal-fired power plants. Because the report looks at emissions from a range of greenhouse gases, the authors converted the warming potential of all the pollutants into an equivalent amount of carbon dioxide, the most common greenhouse gas.

The authors say that emissions reports from the plastics industry are incomplete as they don’t adequately account for leaks of methane—a greenhouse gas that’s 84 times more climate-warming than carbon dioxide in the short-term—and other gases from the transport and production of plastics feedstocks.

The Enormous Mental Health Impact Of COVID-19

While only a minuscule percentage of humans on Earth have not been affected in some way by the Covid-19 pandemic, the ways in which people’s lives have been altered are as diverse as the severity of the effects themselves (with some having even seen positives to come out of the situation).

However, as Statista’s Martin Armstrong notes, one negative impact which has been felt to similar degrees around the world though is that on our mental health.

Latest estimates from the OECD show that increases in the prevalence of depression or its symptoms have been observed in all of the countries in its remit that have available data.

The largest increase has been in Mexico which went from 3 percent of adults pre-pandemic to 28 percent in 2020.

Sweden has the highest level of the countries with data pre- and post-pandemic start at 30 percent.

South Korea, however, has an estimated share of 37 percent, although there are no data points for a pre-pandemic comparison.

Liberal Prosecutor Says Kyle Rittenhouse Should ‘Lose The Right To Self-Defense’ Because He Brought A Gun

Assistant District Attorney Thomas Binger made a bizarre claim during the prosecution’s closing statement in the Kyle Rittenhouse homicide trial on Monday, arguing that the teen lost his “right to self defense” because “you’re the one who brought the gun.” Binger’s argument is not supported by state or federal law, or hundreds of years of Constitutional precedent.

“You can’t claim self defense against an unarmed man like this,” Binger said. “You lose the right to self-defense when you’re the one who brought the gun, when you’re the one creating the danger, when you’re the one provoking other people. The defendants fired four shots at Joseph Rosenbaum and caused five wounds total.”

Binger’s case has repeatedly resorted to bizarre allegations, including the insinuation that Rittenhouse shot the men attacking him because he wanted to play the video game Call of Duty in real life:

BINGER: “Isn’t it true, when you would hang out with Dominic Black, you would play Call of Duty and other first-person shooter video games?”

RITTENHOUSE: “Sometimes.”
