The Second theme is the Feline Theme:
It’s extremely rare in Phoenicia to see a humanoid Feline. The first 2 ivories are extremely rare. Most of the Feline iconography in Phoenicia depicts the animal as you see in the third ivory with this theme. And there are loads of hunting scenes with felines in them as well, but these do not point to the Feline Clan warriors as the ivories I’m attaching with this page do.
Here, it’s more than obvious we are talking about the Feline Clan warriors and there is no question about the Ancient Egyptian art influence. The second ivory piece is even Bes (starting page 939) from Ancient Egypt. It was said back then in Wikipedia page that his cult reached Phoenicia. Here, you have it in front of you. And Bes was a Feline clan warrior whom used to protect children and pregnant ladies from “demons” = Horned Serpents.
