Since we are talking about Obelisks, wireless Tesla electricity and spiritual channeling, let me introduce to you to one of the weirdest monuments I’ve ever seen in my life. I’ve visited this twice and it’s still a mystery to me and everyone else whom got to know about it. It’s called the Kamouh of Hermel, or as the locals call it = Kamouh el Hermel. Let’s check it out: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kamouh_el_Hermel

“Kamouh el Hermel, the Pyramid of Hermel (also known as God's Pyramid, House of El, the Funnel of Hermel or Needle of Hermel) is an ancient pyramid located 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) south of Hermel in Baalbek-Hermel Governorate, Lebanon.”

>> This is no pyramid and this is no obelisk. We prefer to call it by the name of the Funnel because it’s the translation of Kamouh, according to my notes about it.

“The pyramid has been suggested to date to the first or second century BC due to similarities with architecture of tower tombs of the late Seleucid era at Palmyra in Syria. It was considered by William McClure Thomson to possibly have been of Ancient Greek construction; however, the lack of inscriptions puzzled him as he thought the ancient Greeks to be a "scribbling generation".Thomson also entertained the notion, along with Charles William Meredith van de Velde that the construction may have been Assyrian. René Dussaud later suggested that although the reliefs resembled the Ishtar Gate, the edifice was likely a monument to the hunting prowess of a member of Syrian royalty from the first century BC.”

>> It is impossible to date this and it is impossible to identify correctly to which civilization this belongs to.

There is a slight possibility this could be Assyrian/Babylonian/Neo-Babylonian. Some of my colleagues think so because not far, when you go upward on the mountain after passing through the city of Hermel, there is Neo-Babyblonian inscriptions. These inscriptions are known as the Inscriptions of Brisa or as the Inscriptions of Nabucodonosor. These inscriptions are on the side of the road, a few meters away from the road. They were carved on big boulders. This is why they are terribly worn out = exposed to the elements. But they are still readable for most parts of them and there is a translation along with pictures anons can find online or in big libraries.

The presence of these inscriptions at a walking distance from the Kamouh made some of my colleagues think this funnel is built around that era. The style of the decoration is not Hellenic nor Hellenistic for sure. It’s close to what we see in Mesopotamia = it’s similar to it, but it also has difference in the same time. This is not related at the tower tombs of Palmyra. This has nothing to do with them at all. This is a wrong suggestion/interpretation; which in turn lead to a wrongful dating of the Kamouh.

Why I say this has nothing to do with the tower tombs of Palmyra? I’m attaching a picture of these tower tombs from Palmyra with previous page, please look at the closely. The tower tombs in Palmyra are differently shaped. They do not have any decoration on the exterior walls. And they have an opening/door like hole in one side of the walls. The Kamouh of Hermel’s shape is totally different, it is decorated on its 4 sides with hunting scenes – displaying the weapons as well. And what is strange is that the Kamouh has no window, no door. It’s hollow on the inside despite not having a door to get inside it, which means this is no tomb. This is supported by the hunting scenes we have decorating its outer walls and in the same time, nothing in it was found.

The Kamouh crumbled at some point in Time and a restoration/reconstruction happened. New, modern stones, you see in the pictures in lighter shade are the new ones added to hold the monument together. While the darker stones with designs on them are the old original ones. If the reconstruction didn’t happen, the entire monument would have been lost for good.

“The pyramid sits on top of a hill that is clearly visible from a distance and has been fenced off to prevent damage. Despite this, the monument was heavily vandalised by locals in 2000–2018, all the four faces of the base being covered with graffiti and no serious measures being taken by the authorities for its conservation. It is between 19.6 metres (64 ft) and 27 metres (89 ft) high and sits on a base measuring around 1.1 metres (3.6 ft) with three steps made from black basalt. On the base site two massive limestone blocks weighing between 40 tonnes (40,000 kg) and 50 tonnes (50,000 kg). The blocks are around 7 metres (23 ft) high and 9 metres (30 ft) wide and are crowned by a pyramid measuring some 4.5 metres (15 ft) high. Some sections of the monument were restored in 1931. A relief on the north side depicts two deer, possibly caught in a hunting trap. On the east side is a carved image of a boar being attacked by dogs and speared. The south side is badly damaged but shows an image considered possibly to be a bear. The relief on the west side shows two wolves attacking a bull.”

>> The description is correct. The blocks are rather impressive as well the measurements. A notable point is that it’s made of limestone, same type of material found in the pyramids of Giza plateau.

About the vandalism: this monument is a great mystery. It’s under the protection of the town of Hermel since it’s close to it. There is a moral responsibility towards this monument from the people of Hermel. This is part of the National Cultural Treasure of Lebanon. Disfiguring this monument and vandalizing it by the people of Hermel shows the lack of respect they have for the national treasure and for their identity as Lebanese. This monument should be protected and preserved, not vandalized and disfigured. The people of Hermel should reconsider and re-evaluate where they stand because by vandalizing this monument they are showing to the entire world whom they are = a bunch of disrespectful, ignorant punks whom nevre had the proper patriotic education to respect their national monuments. This is projecting their lack of moral in regards to the dignity and respect of their own country. The local authorities and the department of Antiquity are no better. Everyone should have their feet held onto the fire and everyone needs to be re-educated into respecting and protecting their national treasures, and stop acting like brainless thugs.
