HSI attends EUROJUST Genocide Network meeting in The Hague

WASHINGTON – U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI)-led Human Rights Violators and War Crimes Center (HRVWCC) represented the U.S. Nov. 9 and 10 at The Hague, Netherlands, for a global meeting to discuss ongoing efforts to investigate and prosecute human rights violators and war criminals around the world.

HRVWCC Unit Chief Mark Shaffer, along with members of the U.S. Department of Justice Human Rights Special Prosecutions Section, attended the first in-person meeting since Fall 2019 of the European Union’s Agency for Criminal Justice (EUROJUST) Genocide Network. Several other HRVWCC members, to including the leadership from the Human Rights Violators Law Division, attended the meeting virtually.

“International collaboration creates the opportunity for HRVWCC law enforcement personnel to discuss, strategize, and share investigative and litigation techniques and resources on various atrocities, potential perpetrators, and the availability of evidence and witnesses to be used in prosecutions,” said Shaffer.

Shaffer has been a regular participant and the lead U.S. investigator in the EUROJUST Genocide Network’s bi-annual meetings, which bring together law enforcement representatives from the European Union (EU), United States, United Kingdom (UK) and Canada.

HRVWCC team members also represent U.S. law enforcement at EUROPOL’s Analysis Project on Core International Crimes. Both networks are dedicated to supporting national authorities’ efforts to investigate and prosecute genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes.

HSI’s HRVWCC has prioritized building partnerships with human rights violators and war crimes investigative units from within the EU and with the “Five Eyes” alliance of the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, according to Shaffer.

Since 2003, ICE has arrested more than 468 individuals for human rights-related violations of the law under various criminal and/or immigration statutes. During that same period, ICE obtained deportation orders and/or physically removed from the United States 1,070 known or suspected human rights violators. Additionally, ICE has facilitated the departure of an additional 174 such individuals from the United States.

Currently, HSI has more than 170 active investigations into suspected human rights violators and is pursuing more than 1,700 leads and removal cases involving suspected human rights violators from 95 different countries. Since 2003, the HRVWCC has issued more than 77,000 lookouts for individuals from more than 110 countries and stopped over 340 human rights violators and war crimes suspects from entering the U.S.

Members of the public who have information about foreign nationals suspected of engaging in human rights abuses or war crimes are urged to contact the HSI tip line at 1-866-DHS-2423 (1-866-347-2423) or its online tip form at www.ice.gov/tips. Callers may remain anonymous. Biden’s ‘Build Back Better Act’ Will Allow Illegal Immigrants to Claim Billions in Child Tax Credits

They are trying to destroy America, its economy, and the American Middle Class.

FOX News reports:

Biden’s massive $1.75 trillion spending bill would drop a component of the child tax credit program that could lead to billions in payouts to illegal immigrants.

Tucked away on page 1,647 of the Build Back Better Act, the Democrats’ social spending package, is a provision that would repeal the Social Security number requirement to obtain child tax credits. This change would expand child tax credits to parents of illegal immigrants who don’t have Social Security numbers.

Steven Camarota, a Center for Immigration Studies researcher, estimated that eliminating the requirement could result in up to $2.3 billion in additional child tax credit payouts to illegal immigrants.

Biden’s plan to date appears to be:

Steal the 2020 Election and destroy elections going forward

Destroy the economy by destroying industries like those in the energy sector

Increase inflation and destroy the Middle Class and make them poor

Destroy the military and surrender to terrorists who can’t find their location on a globe

Destroy the family and pay for abortions internationally as well

Destroy individual rights and freedom

Stolen elections have consequences.

HS football player — suspended for game allegedly for saying there are 'only two genders' when he was off campus — is suing school district

A New Hampshire high school football player who was suspended for a game allegedly for saying there are "only two genders" is suing his school district, the Portsmouth Herald reported.

What are the details?

The Exeter High School freshman and his mother filed the Nov. 4 suit in Rockingham Superior Court against New Hampshire School Administrative Unit 16 through attorney Ian Huyett of Cornerstone Action, a nonprofit Christian advocacy organization, the paper said.

The lawsuit says the student's September suspension violated his constitutional free speech rights as well as the state's bill of rights since he voiced his Catholic belief that there are only male and female genders, the Herald said.

According to the lawsuit, the student was speaking with two friends on a bus after school about using Spanish third-person pronouns to refer to themselves when a female student overheard the chat and interjected that there are "more than two genders," the paper said.

The student filing the suit responded that there are "only two genders" — and later actually got a text from the student who confronted him, the Herald said, citing the suit.

"[The student] pressed [the student now suing the school] on the topic of gender, demanding, 'Give me one valid reason why there's only two genders,'" the lawsuit adds, according to the Herald. "The two then had a contentious exchange of texts on the issue."

Texts allegedly turned over to administration

The lawsuit states that those texts were turned over to the school's administration and that Assistant Principal Marcy Dovholuk and Bill Ball — athletic director and varsity football coach — pulled the student filing the suit out of class, the paper said.

"Dovholuk and Ball stated that the texts showed that [the student now suing the school] was 'not respecting pronouns' and that he needed to 'respect how people identify,'" the lawsuit states, according to the Herald.

The paper said Ball then allegedly said he was suspended from playing football for a week, which was later reduced to one game after the student's mother told Ball her son did nothing wrong, the suit says. He also was punished for using "inappropriate language" in his texts such as "bozo" and "stfu" (i.e., "shut the [expletive] up"), the Herald said.

Rep. Jackie Speier Becomes the Latest House Democrat to Retire

Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) announced she will not seek reelection in 2022, adding to the list of Democrats who are not seeking reelection.

In a video posted on Twitter Tuesday, Speier confirmed that “today, I am announcing that I will not be a candidate for reelection to Congress in 2022” and conceded that it is “time for me to come home, time for me to be more than a weekend wife, mother, and friend.”

Having represented California’s 14th District—which includes much of the San Francisco Peninsula—since 2008, Speier currently sits on the powerful House Intelligence Committee and the Committee on Armed Services. Notably, she was involved in the first impeachment inquiry into President Donald Trump starting in late 2019.

In the late 1970s, Speier, when she was working as a congressional aide, was shot five times when former Rep. Leo Ryan (D-Calif.) was assassinated in Jonestown, Guyana, by members of the Jim Jones-led People’s Temple. Jones, a self-described communist, led a San Francisco-based group of about 1,000 people that ultimately fled the United States to Guyana, leading to the Jonestown Massacre.

“It’s been an extraordinary privilege and honor to represent the people of San Mateo County and San Francisco at almost every level of government for nearly four decades,” Speier also said Tuesday.

Referring to the Jonestown incident, where Ryan led a delegation to Guyana to investigate and rescue 900 members of the People’s Temple, she said, “Forty-three years ago this week, I was lying on an airstrip in the jungles of Guyana with five bullet holes in my body. I vowed that if I survived, I would dedicate my life to public service. I lived, and I survived.”

And in her announcement, Speier hinted that she’s is not finished with politics.

“There’s also another chapter or two in my book of life, and I intend to contribute to you, the communities I love, on the peninsula and in San Francisco and the country,” she remarked.

Her announcement comes just one day after Sen. Patrick Leahy (D-Vt.), the longest-serving senator in Congress, announced he wouldn’t seek reelection next year.

Meanwhile, Speier the 14th House Democrat to indicate they won’t seek reelection in 2022, which could be an ominous sign for Democrats and President Joe Biden’s administration as they continue to grapple with Virginia’s gubernatorial race being won by a Republican as well as suffering losses in other places earlier this month. Generally, the party of the president loses congressional seats in the midterms.

Before being elected to Congress, Speier also served in California’s legislature in both the state Senate and state Assembly. Her seat is considered very safe for Democrats, as Biden won her district by 57 percentage points over Trump in 2020.

US Navy officer found guilty of secretly buying guns for Chinese military contractor

A U.S. Navy officer was found guilty on Monday of firearms charges and hiding his ties to a Chinese arms dealer.

On Monday, the Department of Justice announced Lt. Fan Yang, 36, was found guilty of conspiring with his wife and a Chinese businessman to violate U.S. firearms laws, make false written statements to federally licensed firearms dealers, and make false statements about his ties with the Chinese businessman during a security clearance background investigation.

Yang was a Naval Flight Officer trained in anti-submarine warfare who flew on Navy P-8 Poseidon aircraft. Yang had a top-secret security clearance as part of his military duties.

According to evidence presented during his trial, prior to becoming a commissioned officer, Yang formed a relationship with the Chinese businessman, Ge Songtao, who was the chairman of Shanghai Breeze Technology Co. Ltd. The company, based out of Shanghai, purchased maritime equipment designed for law enforcement and the military from the U.S. and exported it to China.

In 2016, while Yang was stationed in Jacksonville, he recommended that Ge hire his wife Yang Yang as an employee of Shanghai Breeze. During her time working for Shanghai Breeze, she received more than $300,000 to cover her salary, the company’s expenses in the U.S. and for purchasing goods at Ge’s direction. Some of the funds were routed through Yang’s family business, BQ Tree LLC.

In 2017 and in 2018, Yang purchased a Sig Sauer 9mm pistol and a Glock 9mm pistol on Ge’s behalf. In each case, Yang filed Firearms Transactions Records (ATF Form-4473) on which he falsely indicated he was purchasing the firearms for himself and not Ge.

Ge was also charged with conspiring to submit false export information through the federal government’s Automated Export System and attempting to export special forces maritime raiding craft and engines to China. Ge plead guilty to the charge in November 2020. During his case, Ge’s attorney admitted Ge planned to “reverse-engineer” the equipment and then “use it in a bid to the Chinese Navy.”

Victoria shadow Attorney General: ‘Totally unwarranted’ for Andrews Government to ram through COVID pandemic powers

Victoria’s shadow Attorney General has delivered a scathing assessment of the Andrews Government for “ramming through” the controversial pandemic powers bill.

The Andrews Government with the aid of its “three favoured cross benchers” will ram pandemic powers through the upper house by Thursday, shadow Attorney General Matthew Bach said.

The controversial Pandemic Management Bill will likely pass the upper house after the Andrews Government negotiated amendments with three crossbenchers.

Mr Bach said he hoped the legislation would end up “heavily amended” after Labor announced seven changes to the bill on Tuesday morning.

"I suspect the government - with its three favoured cross benchers - may well be able to ram the bill through this week,” the shadow Attorney General told SkyNews.com.au.

“I suspect it may go through the upper house, hopefully heavily amended, late on Thursday.”

The new amendments agreed by the government, the Greens, the Animal Justice Party and the Reason Party include halving the maximum financial penalty, axing the reference to the equal opportunity act and mandating that public health advice is released sooner.

The government will also use an emergency provision to rush the bill through the Legislative Council without normal parliamentary processes.

Mr Bach said the pandemic did not pose any present emergency threat, which he argued should prevent the government from using the “obscure procedural motion” to “ram through” the bill.

"It is totally unwarranted to try to ram this through treating this bill like an emergency,” he said.

"As the Law Institute of Victoria has clearly argued, there is no legitimate reason to ram it through parliament."

The proposed bill would remove the power to declare a pandemic from the Chief Health Officer and hand it to the Premier, along with the ability to extend the state of emergency in three-months blocks.

The Health Minister will also be able to introduce “pandemic orders” - without proper parliamentary approval - which carry a penalty of up to two years in jail for those caught breaching the orders.

Health Minister Martin Foley and Premier Daniel Andrews fronted the media outside Parliament to defend the changes.

Mr Foley said the amendments struck the balance between “keeping Victorians safe” and maintaining their rights to “go about their business in a normal manner”.

The Premier insisted his government had engaged in “good faith” throughout the negotiations, despite calls from the Opposition that he was “trashing democracy”.

Boston to grant 12 weeks paid leave to city employees who have abortions

The new liberal mayor, Michelle Wu, has been pushing for the policy change.

Boston city employees can get three months of paid leave if they abort their babies.

For the past two months, government employees have been able to get time off after an abortion, thanks to a parental leave change pushed by Michelle Wu, the newly-elected Mayor of Boston. Wu is being sworn in today.

The amendment passed in September “amends the current ordinance by applying the paid parental leave benefit to parents that have experienced a loss of pregnancy.”

“Passage of this ordinance would provide a paid parental leave benefit to city employees (parents) in the event of a natural birth by any method, adoption, surrogacy, and loss of pregnancy. Docket #0481 would also extend the paid parental leave to 12 weeks from six weeks,” the new policy says.

Wu first proposed including abortion under the “loss of pregnancy” standard in March of this year.

“The councilors are seeking to amend the language of the law to state ‘loss of pregnancy,’ thereby covering miscarriages, terminations, instances involving dilation and extraction, and other situations under the policy,” the Boston Globe reported in March.

Supporters of the change cited the devastating effects of miscarriage, which is unintentional, to justify the broader policy of abortion, which is the intentional killing of a baby.

“I think this makes us more equitable,” Councilwoman Lydia Edwards said in March.

“This makes us stronger as a city and acknowledging that there’s a loss of pregnancy [sic] and that a person may, they’re not required (to), but they may need to take leave in order to deal with that.”

Mayor Michelle Wu campaigned for her new position on a platform that included “gender-affirming” healthcare, which refers to supporting people who think they are “transgender.”

Her website boasts of her work to pass “legislation securing inclusive health care access for all City employees, prohibiting discrimination based on gender identity.”

Australian Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg fraudulently gave his best mate, Seven’s Ryan Stokes, at least $47 million of the taxpayer funded Jobkeeper

Federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg was the best man at Seven’s Ryan Stokes’ 2016 wedding and Mr Stokes company Seven West Media announced on Friday (12/11/21) that they had received a total of $47 million over the last 2 years in taxpayer funded Jobkeeper payments. It helps explain why Josh Frydenberg has allowed an estimated $20 billion to $40 billion to be ripped off the Australian public via the rorting of Jobkeeper by the very rich.

Seven West Media is only one company that Ryan Stokes controls, on behalf of his father Kerry Stokes, so the true figure that Ryan and Kerry have profited for their companies from Jobkeeper could be anywhere up to $200 million or more is my estimate when you look at the size and diversity of the parent company Seven Group. (Click here to read more)

A company the size of Seven was meant to have a reduction in revenue of over 50% to be eligible for Jobkeeper but Seven West Media announced only 2 weeks ago they are paying $132 million in cash to buy regional broadcaster Prime Media which doesn’t sound like a company that lost over 50% of its revenue over the last 2 years. (Click here to read more)

The $47 million had been known since September but the market was waiting to see how much Seven would payback and the amount was a big fat zero which explains why Seven announced it at 3.55pm on a Friday. Business journalist Stephen Mayne Tweeted the below:

How many other close friends of Josh Frydenberg profited from Jobkeeper? Should Josh Frydenberg have been forced to declare his close personal friendships and how much they have profited from Jobkeeper? I think Frydenberg should given how much of a rort it has been.

Below is Ryan Stokes on the far left on his wedding day in 2016 and on the far right is his best man and federal treasurer Josh Frydenberg.
