The Judge seems cool AF. I don't see any reason why he wouldn't save the jury the hassle of dealing with this fallout. He certainly doesn't seem afraid to take on the responsibility of doing the right thing, no matter what others think. He just may dismiss and become the hero we need at this particular point in time.
