For the LORD delights in His people;

He adorns the lowly with victory.

Let the faithful exult in glory;

let them shout for joy upon their couches,

with paeans to God in their throats

and two-edged swords in their hands,

to impose retribution upon the nations,

punishment upon the peoples,

לֶאְסֹ֣ר מַלְכֵיהֶ֣ם בְּזִקִּ֑ים וְ֝נִכְבְּדֵיהֶ֗ם בְּכַבְלֵ֥י בַרְזֶֽל׃

binding their kings with shackles,

their nobles with chains of iron,

לַעֲשׂ֤וֹת בָּהֶ֨ם ׀ מִשְׁפָּ֬ט כָּת֗וּב הָדָ֣ר ה֭וּא לְכׇל־חֲסִידָ֗יו הַֽלְלוּ־יָֽהּ׃ {פ}

executing the doom decreed against them.

There is a great circulating information medium that connects us all; our common information supply, composed of our entire news and 'entertainment' media; movies, TV, music, cartoons, video games and advertising; popular culture.
