BCfag reporting in from the lower mainland. It literally rained for 6 weeks straight and we've finally had a break from it for the past 2 days and outlook looks cloudy but not rainy for the next while. It rains in this area a lot in general but never have I seen this much since I've been here (5.5 years). Interesting how the bridge goes out on the last day of the 6 week rainfall. Those bridges should be inspected every month imo especially when everyone knows how much it rains in the area. Something seems fucky but at the same time 6 weeks of rain might end up wearing down the foundation of certain infrastructure. If anything the wording of the article should be: Canada severed from BC. BC exports a lot of goods, the geography of this place is magical, everything grows here and Vancouver is a unique environment classified as a Temperate Rainforest.
