Free men don't have Kings, so all codes are basically slave laws.
We currently have that system. BLM acts with impunity, funded by the gov't, while the 1/6 protestors rot in inhumane conditions.
The slave control system is intentionally corrupt, and always has been. If you don't want your "valuables" stolen, then don't have valuables, or hire security.
