I have a friend who has had 5 hip surgeries, and has other orto. ailments as well. Is in chronic pain and they make her jump thru all kinds of hoops to get her pain meds.
It's really sad. People who need the meds are being punished because some people have abused the meds.
"male" and "female" are now words that mean different things to different people.
They have made it so that we can't even communicate effectively with each other.
People are now arguing over "pronouns" of all things.
It's beyond ridiculous.

I had a pulled ligament on my side once from playing tennis and the pain was severe. Had the hardest time getting any paid meds at all. All they would give me was a few muscle relaxers that knocked me out.
Fortunately, my sister had some Vicodin laying around from a previous surgery and she gave it to me. I am eternally grateful to her for getting me thru the pain. No thanks to useless doctors who are petrified to prescribe pain meds.
