Austria elects first-ever Communist Mayor
Elke Kahr has become the first Communist leader of a major city in Austria after she was elected in Graz on Wednesday - having previously served as the vice mayor.
Not everyone is keen though, Alexis Pascuttini, a member of the right-wing Freedom Party of Austria, described the appointment as "unpleasant."
Kahr wants to provide a bicycle to every child in the municipality, a clear sign she wants to get the wheels turning in the new regime.
