the deer get fat eating his alfalfa all year
he gets one deer in return
before the deer disease halved the population around here they were so thick you did not have to "stalk" them
people spent more time dodging them with their pickups
and spent more money at bodyshops after hitting them than was ever spent on tree stands and camo
prepared drivers had the deer laid downhill and cut to bleed out before the sheriff got there to work the insurance claim and get your roadkill tag arranged
