What you highlight, is the challenge of compiling a stripped down version of the Constitution, vs the temptation to include ‘what/and how much’ contemporaneous context to aid people’s relationship and thus applicability of that same Constitution to today’s life.
Big challenge.
By contrast to the other response, no i do not try to spend effort on commoner-left-overs at this point in time… however, I DO ‘TARGET’ people who think that they have an important government job and take a paycheck from the public. THAT is my primary bull’seye for this stuff. Those are the people who are infact the purpose and reasoning behind why The Constitution was written and who it is to be addressed to.
Yes, the general public’s lack of understanding about it is a massive problem (and no small part of why we are in this tight spot), but immediately, those who put themselves out there as Sworn Servants while subverting it… are my immediate concern.
Stupid people have come to believe (by conditioning), that anger itself is somehow a stand-alone ‘crime’ (LEO training and locker room OJT on this is off the charts)…. because they have also been conditioned not to ask “why is the person angry?”
Don’t forget, keep an eye out for the picture of that same kid used by some parents in Afghanistan protesting a bombing of their village.
