FL has a very strong Homestead Law. Only mortgage default, and tax and mechanics liens can penetrate and cause a person to lose their home. Legal judgements cannot.
That's why OJ moved to FL…to escape the Civil suit judgement in which he was found guilty of murdering Nicole Simpson and Ron Goldman.
