Media Hides Democrats’ ‘Historic’ Migration Expansion

The immigration expansions in the House-passed Build Back Better bill are “the most historic immigration reforms in more than thirty years” says an investor advocacy group.

But there is minimal coverage in the establishment media ofthe law that would legalize 6.5 million illegals and also add “millions” of migrant workers, consumers, and votersto Americans’ society, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

The “immigration provisions in the Build Back Better (BBB) Act would be the most historic immigration reforms in more than thirty years,” says a statement fromFWD.us, a pro-investor advocacy group founded by Mark Zuckerberg.

The group inserted provisions in the bill that allowmillions of foreign consumers and perhaps one million foreign graduates in U.S jobs to buy green cards above the annual caps. “These measures would provide long overdue relief to [contract-worker] families trapped in the backlogs, and … making the U.S. an even more attractive destination for highly skilled [job-seeking] people from around the world,” said FWD.us statement, which is now pushing the Senate to quickly pass the visa giveaway

• The ‘historic” description is echoed by other groups.

• The pro-business, FWD.us-backed Niskanen Center says “these provisions would be largest update to our immigration system in 30 years.”

• The Congressional Budget Organization says the bill will allow “millions” of extra migrants to get legal status in the United States.

• But coverage of thegreen-cards-for-cashprovision has been minimal in the establishment media — even though the establishment’s reporters know that Senate Democrats are trying to push the expansions past the 50 GOP Senators and the Senate’s parliamentarian.

• The minimal coverage is surprising because the reporters are members of the economic class that is most threatened by the cash-for-green-cards rule — house-buying, white-collar professionals who want to get their kids into good universities.

• This fast-track process helps investors to do what they prefer:Sideline a generation of outspoken U.S. graduates by instead importing a vast supply of clever and subordinate foreignerswho will rationally work as lower-wage, compliant, indentured employees to get their life-changing green cards.

• But the silence also reflects the stealth strategy adopted by investors, progressives, and their elite lobbyists andnetworks of covertly-funded astroturf groups. This stealth strategy is a big shift from 2013 and 2014 when a $1 billion P.R. barrage by pro-migration groups failed to dent the public’s deep and rational opposition to easier migration l0w-wage workers.

• The New York Times’ main November 19 article on the House approval of the BBB billsuggested there were no migration provisions:

• Democrats must also ensure that the entire plan adheres to the strict rules that govern the reconciliation process and force the removal of any provision that does not have a direct fiscal effect.

• A sidebar article, titled “Everything in the House Democrats’ Budget Bill,” includes this number-less passage: “Allows individuals to pay a fee to access green cards faster; makes unused family- and employment-based visasfrom past years available for use, among other changes”

• Bloomberg included a mention of the green-cards-for-cash rule, but provided no estimate of the scale:

The bill would … allow some foreigners tofast-track applications to adjust to legal permanent resident statusand sidestep some numerical limits on visas, including per-country caps that have left hundreds of thousands of Indians in limbo.

• One of Bloomberg’s reporters, however, tweeted:

Indian-born Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA)buried the migration expansions as the ninth bulletin her press release, as “humane immigration reform.”

For many years, a wide variety of pollsters have shown deep and broad opposition to labor migration and the inflow of temporary contract workers into jobs sought by young U.S. graduates. Three Wounded After Felon Allegedly Fires Gun in Atlanta Airport

A felon awaiting a security check at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson airport reached in his bag on Saturday afternoon and allegedly fired his gun, then fled the scene.

Reuters reports that the gun was allegedly fired “by accident,” and resulted in a stoppage in flights.

Passengers also ran onto the tarmac in an effort to flee the airport.

A TSA official said no one was shot.

“We were fortunate that when the firearm went off, no one was seriously injured,” Robert Spinden, the TSA’s director of federal security for Georgia, said at the airport briefing. Officials didn’t immediately disclose the type of weapon involved.

The Associated Press notes the would-be passenger fled the airport but was identified by police as 42-year-old Kenny Wells.

Wells is a felon.

Hartsfield-Jackson airport police’s Maj. Reginald Moorman indicated Wells is being sought “including carrying a concealed weapon at a commercial airport, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, discharging a firearm and reckless conduct.”

Three people were injured in the incident, but none of the injuries were from being shot. (One injury was an individual “who fell in the airport’s atrium area.”)

After Atlanta police gave the all-clear normal operations resumed at the airport before 3:30 p.m. TSA said all passengers had to be re-screened.m

San Francisco Police Chief Bill Scott said on Friday that the department has taken steps to investigate an officer who allegedly told a burglary victim that the city’s crime policies were “too progressive.”

The San Francisco Chronicle reported on Saturday:

Chief Bill Scott began the oversight process after The Chronicle asked questions about the experience of one burglary victim. Jenna Smith said a perpetrator broke into her garage nine times in two days while she was out of town for her grandmother’s funeral.

Smith watched the burglaries unfold in real-time through a phone app that linked to her home security cameras. She recalled stinging remarks from an officer who responded to the ninth burglary, whose name she did not remember.

“The officer said, ‘This is happening to you guys because San Francisco is too progressive,’” Smith said.

Those words could be the focus of a probe by the city’s Department of Police Accountability, an independent oversight body that investigates complaints about officers, reviews shootings involving officers, evaluates police practices and recommends new policies to the city’s Police Commission.

The city has been the focus on nationwide attention due to a spate of shoplifting that has forced the departure of dozens of retailers, including pharmacies like Walgreens.

On Friday night, looters in the city’s iconic Union Square ransacked a Louis Vuitton shop and other stores. On Saturday, looters continued into the suburbs, raiding a Nordstrom in Walnut Creek with a convoy of dozens of vehicles.

San Francisco was among the many cities to consider “defunding” the police, and District Attorney Chesa Boudin — son of an imprisoned Weather Underground radical — has adopted lenient law enforcement policies. He now faces a recall election from angry residents.

A stunning 195 House Republicans, as well as all 50 Republican senators, support a measure introduced this week to nullify President Biden’s federal vaccine mandate, Rep. Fred Keller (R-PA) told Breitbart News Saturday.

“We’re working to undo the illegal mandates for vaccines by Joe Biden. [It’s] clearly an overreach of authority to have OSHA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, come to private employers and dictate to them whether or not their employees have to be vaccinated to have a job,” Keller said.

“In America, we have personal liberties and freedoms, and this is an overreach. And what we’re doing is we’re working to strike down that mandate and we know we’re on the right path,” he said, noting the stay placed on the rule after a flurry of legal challenges.

Keller introduced the Congressional Review Act (CRA) resolution last week, and at the time of its introduction, it had over 160 GOP members supporting it. Sen. Mike Braun (R-IN) introduced a companion bill in the Senate, which has the support of all 50 Republican senators.

The Pennsylvania Republican explained the process of CRA, noting it must be passed by both chambers and land on the president’s desk. Keller said they want to bring it up for a vote and send it to Biden “because what it will say, it will say, if there’s a member of Congress who does not support this, you’re basically saying you’re with authoritarian rule [and] taking away people’s personal rights and liberties.”

“And if you sign on with it and join us, in striking down this mandate with the Congressional Review Act, you’re standing with the American people in making sure that the government doesn’t become too big and take your rights and liberties,” he said.

Ultimately, Keller said they are “pushing to do everything we can to get this out of the Senate and House and, quite frankly, get the president to veto it. This is where it’s at.”

Mere days after introducing the resolution, a 218 majority in the House is in sight for Keller and the GOP.

“Anybody that doesn’t sign on to it can’t claim to want to protect your liberties and freedoms. We took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States, which guarantees us rights. It tells us we limit the power to the government, we the people, not the other way around,” he said.

This particularly applies to a vaccine mandate “of telling people what they have to do to keep a job or get a job,” he said. It is “clearly” illegal and “should not be done at all,” he added, noting there are Democrats in districts that will not put up with this. He warned that they better join Republicans in trying to repeal the mandate.

When asked if he would try to attach the measure to other legislation, Keller said their goal “is to gain that support simply by saying this is how clear this case is.”

“You either stand with the overreach of power from an executive, or you stand with the freedom and liberties and the American people. That’s the difference between supporting this and not supporting this,” he said, adding that he is optimistic that they can have all Republicans “at least” on board next week. Then, they will work with Democrats.

Dr. Anthony Fauci is a “sociopath” and “narcissist” who deserves to be in jail based on his “lie of omission” in January 2020 alone, Peter Navarro told Breitbart News Saturday, outlining one of the central goals of his book In Trump Time, one of which is to “get Fauci fired and in jail.”

Navarro, who served as director of Office of Trade and Manufacturing Policy (OTMP) under former President Trump, walked through his experience with the White House Chief medical adviser, as detailed in his book, which should be on the New York Times’ bestseller list but will not be, despite having plentiful book sales — enough appear No. 3 on the list.

“The mission of the book is to get Fauci fired and in jail, hold communist China accountable for the weapon that they inflicted on the American people, and get to the bottom of what happened on both the November 3 and January 6,” he said, explaining it is based on his daily journal.

Navarro spoke a bit about his experience with Fauci, noting that he told Trump to fire him twice. He identified former Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney as a “huge coward” who opposed the move, because he did not want to deal with “blowback” from firing him.

“My money back guarantee for the In Trump Time book is … if you don’t think Fauci belongs in jail, I’ll give you double your money back,” he said, noting that a number of confrontations are outlined in the book and adding that he was the only one in the administration to have the “cajones” to stand up to Fauci, whom he described as a “sociopath.”

One of the biggest infractions committed by Fauci, Navarro said, was his lie of commission in January 2020. While it was problematic he opposed Trump’s China travel ban, the bigger issue was the lie of omission, withholding what he knew at the time, the author explained.

“He knew that the virus came from Wuhan. He knew it that it popped up literally within yards of a Wuhan bioweapons lab. Therefore it was likely from the lab. He knew that the had funded that lab “both directly and indirectly,” Navarro said, adding that Fauci also knew that in 2017, he worked to “overturn the gain-of-function ban.”

“The logical, ethical, moral and nationalistic thing to do” would have been to go to the president and task force and lay all of that out, Navarro said, explaining that the virus may be genetically engineered, weaponized, and from the lab.

That, Navarro explained, would have immediately put the U.S. on a “war time footing.” Additionally, with that information, Navarro said the U.S. would have pressured communist China to reveal the original genome of the virus, allowing the U.S. to manufacture a more complex “true vaccine rather than experimental technology we have now.”

“So Fauci, just on that lie of omission, belongs in jail,” Navarro said. “The blood of millions of people worldwide are on his hands.”

As detailed in the book, Navarro also fought Fauci on therapeutics like hydroxychloroquine. If they flooded the zone with such treatments at the time, Navarro said, over 300,000 Americans would be alive today, noting that is “more blood on Fauci.”

“The Fauci theme runs throughout the book,” Navarro continued, adding that he is “coming at him head on.”

“We’ve got Bobby Kennedy Jr.’s new book The Real Anthony Fauci that is just come out. I’m working with Bobby on this. We want to take Fauci down and put him in an orange jumpsuit,” Navarro said.

“Clearly, he tried to cover this up,” he said of Fauci, pointing to everything he knew in January 2020 — namely, the information he withheld.

“I can’t read into the mind of a sociopath like Fauci, but it may well be he was hoping that somehow, this virus wouldn’t be as bad and simply go away.”

While he said he tried to take down Fauci, he added, “I didn’t prevail, and now you’ve got Fauci wanting to jab 6-year-olds and talking about the importance of control over the American people.”

People now “physically loathe this little control freak,” Navarro added.

“And he needs to be not just fired but in jail. He need to be in jail. Hey lied to Congress. He lied to Rand Paul. He lied to the American people,” he said, calling him a sociopath and narcissist.
