Slow day today so thought I would publicly share an update.

I've been embedded with the homeless population for a week now here.

There are really two categories:

1. Those too mentally impared to live normally. These are the typical homeless you see. Long hair, dirty, all their possessions go everywhere with them..They are fast becoming the minority here.

2. The new breed. These are younger people mid 20-30's. These people all have nice tents, with all the accouterments. Air mattresses, tables, speakers, $1000 phones, haircuts etc. The equipment is all brand new and there is a funding operation going on by how dress right dress the equipment handed out is.

I've been threatened with metal pipes, stun guns, and accosted numerous times. It's only a matter of time before there is a violent encounter by one of the latter group. They think anyone they don't know is a cop (I'm actually a felon…) and have no problems ganging up on someone.

This situation is EXACTLY what the 2A was intended for. Since I'm a felon I can not possess a firearm now…
