Hunter Biden profited from helping a Chinese firm acquire cobalt mines from an American company, according to a report released just days after President Joe Biden admitted the United States is “losing our edge” on Communist China in control of the essential natural resource.

“We risked losing our edge as a nation, and China and the rest of the world are catching up,” Biden admitted last week.

Communist China controls much of the raw minerals needed to create clean energy. A mineral named cobalt is specifically in high demand because it is used for the production of battery-powered vehicles.

While electric cars are highly subsidized by the United States government in order to reduce “climate change,” car manufactures must deal with China to obtain batteries made from cobalt.

Cobalt is found in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where more than two-thirds of the world’s cobalt supply originates, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

In recent years, American elites have allowed — if not enabled — Chinese-backed companies to buy “two of the country’s largest cobalt deposits over the past five years,” the New York Times reported.

One of those companies is a private equity firm registered in Shanghai in which Hunter Biden reportedly owned a stake, along with business partners Eric Schwerin and John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz. (John Kerry was Secretary of State under Barack Obama and now is President Biden’s climate envoy).

Opposition Leader says he ‘holds PM responsible’ for not ‘unequivocally’ calling out protests

Federal Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese says he “holds the Prime Minister responsible” for not calling out anti-vaccine mandate and pandemic law protesters “unequivocally”.

As previously reported, people were seen holding gallows and nooses in Melbourne last week. Scott Morrison condemned the behaviour and, while doing so, added that governments should get out of people’s lives.

Some – such as Victorian Labor Premier Daniel Andrews – have seized on those comments, arguing the PM should not have qualified his statement. Others, such as Deputy Prime Minister Barnaby Joyce, have insisted there is room for nuance and not all protesters should be lumped into the same category.

Here’s what Mr Albanese had to say on the ABC’s RN Breakfast earlier this morning:

I hold the Prime Minister responsible for failing to call out unequivocally the violent and extreme comments that are made, the taking of gallows, the threatening of Labor MPs, premiers and [crossbenchers].

There’s always a but. We heard it again from Simon Birmingham, Barnaby Joyce.

The Prime Minister should be capable of just showing leadership, not being weak and saying that these comments and these behaviours are unacceptable in Australia.

Minister says government won’t be ‘held to ransom’ over vaccine mandate demands

Federal Finance Minister Simon Birmingham says the government won’t be held to ransom as senators threaten to withhold support for key legislation unless the federal government overrides state vaccine mandates.

“The government won’t be dictated to,” Mr Birmingham told the ABC’s RN Breakfast earlier this morning.

“We’ll do what we’ve always done which is work with the health advisors.

“I fully respect the right of Liberal and National Party members to cross the floor … what I would urge any parliamentarian, though, not to do is to hold one issue ransom to other unrelated issues.”

The comments come as Mr Birmingham defended the Prime Minister amid accusations he failed to “unequivocally condemn” threats of violence and extremism by protesters across the country.

Melbourne has faced large protests over vaccine mandates and proposed pandemic laws, with some marchers seen carrying nooses and a gallows.

Mr Morrison has condemned acts of violence, but says it is time for governments to get out of people’s lives.

“We absolutely condemn any threats of violence, acts of violence in Australian political debate, they have no place at all,” Mr Birmingham said.

“That’s not to say there aren’t Australians who have issues that they raise with politicians on a day-to-day basis, and some of them choose to protest.

“But any protest should be peaceful and should be undertaken in ways that are about advancing the cause, not undermining security or peaceful activity.”

Attorney Releases First Pages from Subpoenaed FDA Files – Shows Pfizer Documented 158,893 Adverse Events with 25,957 Nervous System Disorders in First Few Months of Distribution

Attorney Aaron Siri recently released the first batch of subpoenaed documents from the FDA on Pfizer’s COVID vaccine. The documents reveal that in the first few months of this year there were already 158,893 Adverse Events recording including 25,957 nervous system disorders.

Two months and one day after it was sued, and close to 3 months since it licensed Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine, the FDA released the first round of documents it reviewed before licensing this product. While it is for the scientists to properly analyze, let me share one observation. One of the documents produced is a Cumulative Analysis of Post-Authorization Adverse Event Reports of [the Vaccine] Received Through 28-Feb-2021, which is a mere 2 ½ months after the vaccine received emergency use authorization (EUA). This document reflects adverse events following vaccination that have completed Pfizer’s “workflow cycle,” both in and outside the U.S., up to February 28, 2021.

Pfizer explains, on page 6, that “Due to the large numbers of spontaneous adverse event reports received for the product, [Pfizer] has prioritised the processing of serious cases…” and that Pfizer “has also taken a [sic] multiple actions to help alleviate the large increase of adverse event reports” including “increasing the number of data entry and case processing colleagues” and “has onboarded approximately [REDACTED] additional fulltime employees (FTEs).” Query why it is proprietary to share how many people Pfizer had to hire to track all of the adverse events being reported shortly after launching its product.

As for the volume of reports, in the 2 ½ months following EUA, Pfizer received a total of 42,086 reports containing 158,893 “events.” Most of these reports were from the U.S. and disproportionately involved women (29,914 vs. 9,182 provided by men) and those between 31 and 50 years old (13,886 vs 21,325 for all other age groups combined, with another 6,876 whose ages were unknown). Also, 25,957 of the events were classified as “Nervous system disorders”

But all the money is going to foreign investors and experts say “emissions from hydrogen made from fossil fuels would still be “substantial”” which means the real beneficiaries are Angus Taylor’s and the government’s mates in the gas industry.

This website is focused on judicial and political corruption, not the environment, but what sparked my interest in this story is the fact that Australia is giving taxpayer’s money to foreign companies to undermine Australia’s emissions reduction obligations. Hydrogen produced by fossil fuels is more expensive, will release more greenhouse gas emissions and comes with a greater risk of creating stranded assets, according to new research from the Australian National University.

In the paper, published in the peer-reviewed engineering journal Applied Energy, researchers compared the emissions and financial cost of producing hydrogen using fossil fuels or renewable energy.

“Blue hydrogen” is produced using natural gas while “green hydrogen” is made by running an electric current through water using an electrolyser powered by renewable energy such as wind or solar.

“The Australian government needs to do more than have hopes and prayers and magical thinking in their modelling,” Hamilton said. “They need proper targets, proper policy actions to bring these emerging technologies to market, as they did with wind and solar 20 years ago.” (Click here to read more)

Google censors searches for Kyle Rittenhouse in the same way it bans Adolf Hitler and the Taliban

A unanimous jury found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty on all of the counts that he had been facing. Rittenhouse was acquitted of first-degree intentional homicide, first-degree reckless homicide, and attempted first-degree intentional homicide. Despite his proven innocence in a court of law, Google censors Kyle Rittenhouse in the same manner it withholds certain searches for Adolf Hitler and the Taliban.

As of Sunday evening, when you do a Google search of "Kyle Rittenhouse shirt" on the tech platform's shopping tab, you receive a message that states: "Your search — Kyle Rittenhouse shirt — did not match any shopping results."

Oddly enough, right below the message was a paid advertisement from a company selling 20 different Kyle Rittenhouse shirts.

It turns out that all of big tech's major search engines are banning Kyle Rittenhouse shirts on their shopping marketplaces, including Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, and Bing.

However, there is no shortage of the product. A quick Google search finds 29,600 results for the search of "Kyle Rittenhouse shirt."

Google has no issues selling shirts with serial killers such as Jeffrey Dahmer, the cannibal sex offender who killed at least 17 men in Wisconsin, John Wayne Gacy, who was convicted of murdering at least 33 young men and boys, and Ted Bundy, who raped and murdered at least 20 young women and girls.

On Google shopping, you can purchase clothes featuring Che Guevara, a homophobic and racist Marxist revolutionary; Pol Pot, leader of the Marxist Khmer Rouge that killed more than 1.7 million people through work, starvation, and torture in four years; Joseph Stalin, the Russian communist despot believed to have killed 20 million; and Chairman Mao, the Chinese communist tyrant that killed 45 million in four years.

The big tech shopping platform has no problem selling shirts celebrating Antifa, which contributed to the record-high damages in the 2020 riots. Google also has no issues with apparel praising Rene Boucher, the convicted neighbor of Rand Paul who attacked the Republican senator and broke his ribs in 2017.

Besides Kyle Rittenhouse, the only other search terms that were found to be seemingly banned from Google shopping were "Adolf Hitler," "Nazi," "Taliban," "QAnon," and "Proud Boys."

US non-profit responds to claims it brought close relative of Covid-19 virus to Wuhan

An American nonprofit behind the US-funded bat virus research in China has denied ever sending virus samples from Laos – a place where SARS-CoV-2 closest natural relative was found – to Wuhan in response to fresh allegations.

“No work was ever conducted in Laos as a part of this collaborative research project,” EcoHealth Alliance – a group that conducted experiments on coronaviruses while receiving funding from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) – said in a series of tweets on Sunday, responding to media reports alleging that the group might have transported a potentially dangerous virus from Laos to the laboratory in Wuhan.

The group’s name surfaced in October when the NIH principal deputy director, Lawrence Tabak, revealed EcoHealth Alliance did experiment on the viruses with the agency’s financial help. At that time, White House Medical Advisor Dr. Anthony Fauci stated that the viruses studied as part of the project “were distant enough molecularly that no matter what you did to them, they could never, ever become SARS-CoV-2.”

EcoHealth has come under renewed scrutiny after its emails, obtained through a Freedom of Information request, appeared to suggest that the group was discussing the prospect of collecting viral samples from bats in Laos and sending them to the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The emails were initially obtained by the White Coat Waste Project and sparked a flurry of reports over the weekend, including in the Spectator by British science writer Matt Ridley.

Pfizer co-developer says Covid vaccination will be annual

People around the world will need to get a jab against Covid-19 once a year, at least when it comes to the Pfizer vaccine, BioNTech’s CEO Ugur Sahin said in an interview on Sunday, as he praised the quality of its booster shot.

In an interview with Germany’s Bild newspaper on Sunday, Sahin said he considers the vaccine, co-developed by his company, to be “very effective.”

When asked whether people should be worried about the “breakthrough infections” – in which those vaccinated with the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine still developed Covid-19 symptoms – he dismissed such concerns, saying that the jab offers a “90 percent protection” against cases that require intensive care in those aged over 60.

A “very high” level of protection against severe illness lasts for up to nine months, the BioNTech CEO maintained. He said this level starts decreasing “from the fourth month,” however. To maintain the protection, Sahin strongly pushed for booster shots, arguing that they would not just restore levels of antibodies but would potentially help “to break … chains of infection.”

He also encouraged doctors to be “as pragmatic as possible” when it comes to greenlighting vaccination and “not to send people home unvaccinated even though they could be vaccinated without any problems.”

In the future, people might need to get booster shots once a year, the BioNTech CEO believes. He said that he expects protection from a booster shot to “last longer” than the initial immunity one acquires after getting two doses of the vaccine.

“Subsequent … vaccinations may only be needed every year – just like [with] influenza,” he said. Currently, the German Federal Center for Health Education – an agency subordinated to the Health Ministry – recommends a booster shot six months after one gets the second dose of a vaccine. It also says that “booster vaccination makes sense after a minimum interval of about four months.”

Another major red flag about Covid vaccines and death

This one coming from data on more than 4 million vaccinated Swedes

People appear to die at rates 20 percent or more above normal for weeks after receiving their second Covid vaccine dose, according to data from a huge Swedish study.

The figures are buried in a preprint paper on vaccine effectiveness released last month. The headline finding of the paper was that protection against Covid, including severe cases, plunged after six months.

The researchers did not explicitly examine deaths from all causes - which have risen since the summer in many countries that have highly vaccinated populations.

But on page 32 of the 34-page report, a chart shows that 3,939 of 4.03 million Swedes who received the second dose died less than two weeks later.

Over a one-year period, that rate of death would translate into an annual mortality rate of about 2.5 percent a year - 1 person in 40 - almost three times the overall Swedish average. In a typical year, about 1 in 115 Swedes dies.

Of course, that huge gap does not account for an important confounding factor: younger people, who have a much lower risk of death, were less likely to be vaccinated.

But Sweden also provides detailed data on overall deaths nationally, making a crude baseline comparison possible.

That data shows that from an average of about 1,650 Swedes died every week between 2015 and 2019 between April 1 and early August, the period in which almost all of those 4 million Swedes in the study received their second dose. Death rates hardly varied over those years.

In other words, during the spring and summer, Sweden normally has about 3,300 deaths every two weeks - not just in the people who received vaccines, but in all 10.6 million of its people.

So let’s make an incredibly conservative assumption, one that strongly favors the vaccines. (The next couple paragraphs are a bit tricky, but I hope the payoff is worth taking the time to read and think through them.)

Assume that the group of people who received vaccines were so much older and unhealthier than those who didn’t that they would have accounted for every single death in Sweden whether or not they were vaccinated. In other words, assume that even if the vaccines did not exist, every person in Sweden who died would have been part of that group of 4.03 million people the researchers tracked - while not one other person would have died.

In that case, those 4.03 million people “should” have about 3,300 deaths every two weeks. They CANNOT HAVE MORE - because all of Sweden does not have more.

But the vaccines do exist. Those 4.03 million people received them. And in the two weeks after receiving the second vaccine dose, as a group, the researchers reported they had not about 3,300 deaths, but 3,939.

Two of 17 abducted missionaries in Haiti have been freed

Two of the 17 missionaries abducted in Haiti have been freed and are safe, according to the Ohio-based church organization Christian Aid Ministries.

Those who were released are "in good spirits and being cared for," the missionary group said Sunday.

But it added that it couldn't give the names of those released or why they were freed, according to The Associated Press.

"While we rejoice at this release, our hearts are with the 15 people who are still being held," Christian Aid Ministries said in a statement.

The 17 missionaries, 16 of which are American and one who is Canadian, were abducted along with their Haitian driver on Oct. 16 by the 400 Mawozo gang, according to the AP. Five of them are children, ranging from ages eight months to 15 years old.

The gang has demanded $1 million ransom per person.

A rise in kidnappings began following the assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moïse in July and a massive 7.2 magnitude earthquake that hit Haiti in August.

The U.S. government has urged its citizens to leave Haiti as a result of the increased insecurity and fuel shortage, and Canada announced Friday that all but essential personnel were being pulled from its embassy, the AP reported.
