Here's some reasons:
1.) Weather (Wisconsin=Cold in Dec).
2.) Families been on lockdown & want to take kids out for fun.
3.) Show resilience in the face of Pandemic.
4.) Families go out of town for Christmas.
5.) Probably a lot more I can't think ATM.
Heck, we put up our tree and outside lights yesterday and it was because our kids live out of town and are coming here for Thanksgiving and they love to see the house all decorated - they won't be here for Christmas.
