If you steal money but donate it or raise it under a foundation then all shall hail them. 1980s S&L crisis thousands were prosecuted for their role. 2000s mortgage crisis we can count on a hand how many were prosecuted and the biggest was let off with a slap on the wrist.. everyone would say nice things coz of the donations he made with stolen/corrupt money.
