A bit more of the plot is being exposed. Note this interesting statement by Ryan:

Ryan ties FISA abuse to the FBI informant (Halper). That is not an accident - and perhaps gives us a bigger glimpse into what was used to get the original FISA application on Carter Page.
We know Halper was at a conference in July '16 with Page, Steele, and Dearlove (MI6). We also know this was a few weeks before the FBI-CID investigation was officially opened. It's clear Halper was at the conference to entrap both Page and Pap (all he would need to do is get them to talk a bit about Russia or missing emails… then poof - he can verify "Steele's" dossier). I assume this was done so Halper could verify parts of the "dossier" to the FISC as a 20+ year CIA asset.
And if THAT'S true, then the entire FISA application might be about to get blown up. Imagine if they reveal the only evidence they relied on in the application was Steele's dossier and Halper's verification of PARTS of it? That would confirm the closed intel-loop, and expose that the FISA application (and investigation by extension) as improper.
It would be lights out for the whole narrative… and makes sense why we'd need to expose Halper first.
Just pre-coffee musings.
