Agreed, 100%. But this is the fundamental issue - not enough people even care. There are 330+ million people in this country, 258 million are 18+ years old. If 75 to 80 million people voted in last presidential election, that leaves a staggering majority of people who literally do not care. They couldn’t even mail in a ballot.
The remainder will never wake up until their daily life and lifestyle is affected substantially enough to spur them to action. For this reason, I feel we are very, very far from the precipice.
