Kid doesn’t realize there were serious threats against his life, by people who would actually follow through.
I really doubt his family could have properly protected him. What is gained by bashing the people who came to his aid? He doesn’t know how to play the game, he should be very grateful some powerful people stepped in to help him with his bail, he would have been in jail a hell of a lot longer with them, cancel culture was full force against anyone who donated, they paid a big price.
