it is fiction…..plagiarized fiction, to boot!….proven in court…monetary judgements, etc ; Roots was a psy-op against white people in america ; they made classic TV fathers into villainous slaveholders, including, but not limited to…Brady Bunch dad Mike….Bonanza patriarch, Ben Cartwirght and the Walton's dad was especially despicable ; but life-long lefty agitator, Ed Asner, got to be the "woke" guy on the slave boat. They even trashed Sandy Duncan (played Peter Pan on Broadway)

Nice little article here on related topics, with an excerpt:

"The seminal image many 50+ year old Americans have regarding the West African slave trade’s operating model can be traced back to the 1977 television miniseries Roots. Some of you may recall sitting in front of your CRT television screen unknowingly watching the roots of a future social justice movement unfold before your eyes as a gang of European men magically appear deep within the Heart of Darkness wielding nets, superior numbers, and incredible brutality and snatch up a young and happy Kunta Kinte from his ancestral homeland."

back in 1977 there were only three TV stations that everyone watched and they kind of just dropped it on people…it went of for a couple weeks I think….and was the talk of everywhere, especially in high school….the propaganda worked like a charm and has manifest into today's "woke" BS.
