Biden To Cause ‘Catastrophic’ Supply Chain Disaster As Millions Of Truckers Quit Over Vaccine Mandate, Union President Says

A Biden vaccine mandate is expected to decimate the trucking industry and cause catastrophic supply chain issues

A federal vaccine mandate would almost certainly lead to a catastrophic supply chain breakdown, according to American Trucking Association (ATA) President Chris Spear. About 37% of truckers said they would not take a COVID vaccine under any circumstances, according to a recent survey. This would cause a breakdown in an already understaffed industry.

Spear was asked what type of reaction truckers were having to a looming vaccine mandate. “In our sample survey of our fleets, it came back as 37% of our drivers not only said no, but hell no,” Spear said.

He went on to explain how job losses on this scale would absolutely cripple the industry. “Let’s just say 3.7%, not 37% were to actually leave rather than get the vaccine. That would be catastrophic. We’re already short 80,000, that would inflate it to a quarter-million.”

The ATA boasts roughly 37,000 members. If their survey results held up across the industry, a vaccine mandate could result in thousands of truckers leaving their jobs.

“We’ve tried to be very clear with the administration that if you do this, I understand the logic behind it, but if you do this, these are the consequences,” Spear said regarding Biden’s vaccine mandate. “So if you’re trying to solve the supply chain problem, you’re actually compounding it and actually hurting the very problem you’re trying to fix on the vaccine side.”

US Blacklists a Dozen More Chinese Entities Over Military Links

The U.S. Commerce Department has added a dozen Chinese companies to a trade blacklist, citing national security concerns and some of the firms’ involvement in aiding the Chinese military’s quantum computing efforts.

The list on Nov. 24 covers 27 new entities from four countries, including China, Japan, Pakistan, and Singapore, with several China and Pakistan-based entities identified to be contributing to Pakistan’s nuclear activities and ballistic missile program.

“Global trade and commerce should support peace, prosperity, and good-paying jobs, not national security risks,” said Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo in a statement on Wednesday.

The added entities include three affiliates of Chinese firm Corad Technology Limited, located in Shenzhen, Singapore, and Japan. The Hong Kong-based company came on the entity list in 2019 for selling U.S. technology to Iran’s military and space programs.

Eight technology firms from China—Hangzhou Zhongke Microelectronics Co., Ltd., Hunan Goke Microelectronics, New H3C Semiconductor Technologies Co., Ltd., Xi’an Aerospace Huaxun Technology, Yunchip Microelectronics, Hefei National Laboratory for Physical Sciences at Microscale, QuantumCTek Co., and Shanghai QuantumCTeck Co., Ltd—are also blocked for their efforts to steal U.S. emerging technologies for advancing Chinese military on the quantum computing front, such as developing anti-submarine weapons, breaking encryption, and creating unbreakable encryption.

Three more China-based companies, including Shaanxi Zhi En Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd, Poly Asia Pacific Ltd. (PAPL), and Peaktek Company Ltd, were added to the list for contributing to Pakistan’s “unsafe guarded nuclear activities.”

Suppliers will need to apply for a license before selling to these companies, which the Bureau of Industry and Security said it will likely deny.

One Pakistan-based entity placed on the list, Jiuding Refrigeration & Air-conditioning Equipment Co., is founded in Nanjing, the capital of China’s eastern Jiangsu Province. The company describes itself as a “professional Chinese manufacturer” for refrigeration and air treatment equipment and a “high-tech enterprise that integrates science, industry, and trade.”

It offers a string of environment simulation tests for military equipment such as armored vehicles, military engineering vehicles, tanks, and ammunition, according to its website that is displayed in English, Chinese, and Pakistan.

It was distinguished as a “progressive ground-level Party organization” in 2017.

Irony On Steroids: Hillary Laments People Not Being Held Accountable for Their Actions

The Leftist political elites, they are not like you and me. Hillary Clinton, who is the very model of the modern Leftist politician who is above the law, falsely claimed in connection with her illegal use of a private email server while secretary of state, that she “never received nor sent any material that was marked classified.” She faced no legal consequences for that. Her team may have been involved in the Trump Russian collusion hoax, but even if it was, it is certain that Hillary will pay no penalty.

Rumors swirl around her regarding the strange fates of so many of her political foes, making her notorious for evading all the consequences of her actions; even if all the rumors are 100% false, they circulate because what we know for certain about her gives even the most fantastic story a veneer of plausibility. Hillary herself, however, displaying the audacity and imperviousness to irony that has marked her career, made it clear in an interview Tuesday that she was the one who was worried about people not being held accountable.

She is, in fact, worried about more than just that. “I do think,” she told MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, “that we are facing a crisis of democracy, a crisis of legitimacy, a crisis that really goes to the heart of what the future of our country and many others around the world will be.” This is, of course, more red meat for the blue rubes, as anyone who looks at our current predicament in the United States honestly will quickly realize that the “crisis of democracy” doesn’t come from the Jan. 6 non-insurrectionist “insurrectionists,” although they are likely the people Hillary had in mind. Nor does it come from Donald Trump supporters or the “white supremacists” whom the Biden administration claims are the nation’s foremost terror threat, despite never getting around to actually committing any terrorist acts.

In the real world, as opposed to the world of Hillary’s paranoid fantasies, the “crisis of democracy” that the nation faces comes from the attorney general behaving like the head of the Gestapo and sending FBI agents after parents who are angry with what is being taught in public schools. The real “crisis of democracy” comes from social media giants that ban and silence everyone who speaks about the possibility of election fraud, despite growing evidence of irregularities. The “crisis of democracy” that Hillary should be concerned about is the one that stems from the far-Left’s war on American history and determination to make Americans ashamed of their culture and heritage.

Bail For Christmas Parade Killer Darrell Brooks Set at $5 Million; 6th Homicide Charge Will Be Filed Later This Week With Several Other Charges Being Reviewed

Darrell Brooks, the radicalized black supremacist who intentionally sped his SUV through the crowd at the Waukesha Christmas parade, made his initial appearance in court on Tuesday for the horrific terror attack that killed 6 people and injured 60 more.

Brooks sat hunched over, restrained by handcuffs and a suicide prevention smock, as he was charged with five counts of first-degree intentional homicide and his bail was set for $5 million.

Court Commissioner Kevin Costello agreed with the prosecution’s request to set bail at $5 million, citing Brooks’ extensive criminal record that includes violent offenses and child sex crimes, his repeated pattern of jumping bail or resisting arrest, and the “shocking” nature of his latest offense.

All available evidence at this point shows that Brooks’ actions were in fact intentional, with detectives saying that his vehicle “seemed to swerve into individuals,” while avoiding hitting vehicles at other times. Witnesses also said he gained speed as he barreled his way down the street.

During his decision, Costello said he had never had seen a case like this one in his 40 years serving in law. He explained that even though the bail request was extremely high, it was warranted because of the severity of his heinous, intentional attack and the fact that if he is convicted on any charge he will serve the rest of his life behind bars.

Brooks should never have been out of jail in the first place, but thanks to felons-first Milwaukee DA John Chisholm, this violent felon was bailed out for just $1000.

“Two detectives opined that this was an intentional act, that the vehicle seemed to swerve into individuals, actually at one point tried to avoid other vehicles.”

The gravity of the offenses… If you [Brooks] are found guilty of one or more of these [charges] – even one – they put you in prison for the rest of your life. I believe you are a flight risk.

You are out on bail [right now] – those smallish bails that you were owed on didn’t do very well.

The nature of this offense is shocking – the detail I was not expecting here today that two detectives not only tried to stop this, but rendered an opinion that this was an intentional act.I have not seen anything like this in my very long career. It seems to be a very strong case for the state.”

I have no problem with that bail its extrodanarily high but its an extrodinarily big case, its an extrodinarily serious case with an extrordinary history of this gentleman of fleeing, of hurting people, of not following court orders, not following criminal laws, not following just your societal norms.

Revealed: Rupert Murdoch’s crack team of Liberal Party fundraisers

News Corp columnists have continued to beat the bushes for the Coalition at fundraising events, the latest batch of political donations shows. That may be no surprise. The question is whether they have been joined by the grey eminence of The Australian, Paul Kelly. Stephanie Tran digs around the disclosures.

Latest political donations data shows a surge in donations to the Liberal Party and News Corp commentators Peta Credlin, Alan Jones and Chris Kenny hitting the star-studded speakers circuit. The data also mentions, intriguingly, a “2020 Paul Kelly Event”.

If the veteran News Corp journalist has indeed joined the team of Liberal Party campaigners, he has not been as successful as a fundraiser. The NSW branch’s “Paul Kelly Event” for its Davidson SEC (state electoral conference), on Sydney’s northern beaches, raised just $40 on the evening of November 26, 2020.

The Paul Kelly of Rupert Murdoch’s employ is a long-serving journalist, columnist and author. Paul Kellys of similar prominence are the singer-songwriter; Australia’s Chief Medical Officer; and the AFL footballing great. It can be assumed that the troubadour would have brought in more than $40; the Down Under Dr Fauci would have attracted eyes and ears in a pandemic; and that even in a rugby league town, the Aussie Rules midfielder is prominent enough to rate a statue at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

Representatives of News Corp were contacted for comment by MWM.

The political donation disclosures released by the NSW Electoral Commission outline the contributions made by the Murdoch team to the Coalition cause. Credlin, a prominent commentator for Sky News and The Australian, did her bit. She joined forces with Senator Amanda Stoker and commentator and Northern Territory politician Jacinta Nampijinpa Price on May 17 this year to raise $24,860 for the Liberal Party at a discussion moderated by Credlin, who was also chief adviser to former prime minister Tony Abbott.

One of the most successful of Murdoch’s fundraisers for the Liberal Party has been the veteran broadcaster Alan Jones, who brought in $8315 at a 2019 dinner in Tweed Shire.

But Chris Kenny, another News Corp columnist, and dogged critic of political bias at the ABC, barely covered the alcohol bill in North Sydney on the evening of November 28 in 2019 when the party held its “Kirribilli Cocktails with Chris Kenny”. Some $480 was raised.

In the 2019 election campaign, Daily Telegraph columnist Piers Akerman was photographed campaigning in Liberal colours for Abbott in his seat of Warringah. Abbott lost to independent Zali Steggall.

The Prime Minister’s short-lived incarnation as managing director of Tourism Australia has long been a matter of speculation. A Liberal sacked by a Liberal government! But for correspondent Jommy Tee, it’s a case of ACCESS DENIED.

New evidence shows the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) interfered in denying a Freedom of Information (FOI) request by Michael West Media (MWM) into Scott Morrison’s sacking from Tourism Australia in 2006.

MWM has been trying for months to obtain, via FOI, a copy of the 2006 Tourism Australia Board paper that discussed Scott Morrison’s termination. Access to the Board paper was refused. This document could provide critical insights into why the board of thought it necessary to terminate Morrison’s employment as managing director of the organisation after only 15 months. It is a document that no other media organisation has attempted to obtain previously.

As part of consultation process for our original FOI, Tourism Australia was obliged to consult the Prime Minister and seek his views on the release of the document.

We had to lodge a further FOI application to find out what consultation took place between Tourism Australia and external parties, including Morrison. The request uncovered 68 documents.

We were granted full access to two documents, partial access to 16 documents, and refused access to 50 documents.

Less than a week ago the Prime Minister was asserting that the ABC and SBS were “not above scrutiny”, yet when the focus is on either him, or his ministers, it’s a case of “move on”.

The FOI documentation received included an email dated June 25, 2021, from Tourism Australia’s general manager of corporate affairs, Bede Fennell, to the PMO.

It indicates that Tourism Australia had intended to release a version of the board paper to MWM, albeit with redactions.

The email shows that a phone discussion took place with the relevant adviser in the PMO but no paper trail back from the PMO to Tourism Australia appears to exist.

None.

Our latest FOI attempt, does however indicate that Fennell made a file note of the conversation with the PMO adviser – but access to the file note was redacted.

The Fennell email also confirms advice that we previously received (but have yet to report on) that Tourism Australia does not hold a separation agreement between Scott Morrison and itself. In the past much has been made of the existence and the confidentiality conditions associated with this elusive agreement.

Tourism Australia, as part of the consultation process associated with our original FOI request for the board paper, also sought external legal advice. Tourism Australia also refused us access to the legal advice, claiming legal professional privilege. These documents make up the vast bulk of the documents to which we were refused access.
