Anyone ever read the book 'The Operators' by Michael Hastings?
That book basically got McChrystal fired.
But reading it also clues you in that Flynn was there, too. He was like McChrystal's right hand man. Or certainly one of that 'gang' of insiders acting pretty recklessly.
Hastings later got killed in a weird car accident. He had made a lot of enemies in the deep state.
Anyway… my mind always connects Flynn with McChrystal, and then the crazy death of Hastings… shrug
