Opeth (Swedish death metal)
The band name was derived from the word "Opet", taken from theWilbur Smith novel The Sunbird. [7] In this novel, Opet is the name of a fictional Phoenician city in South Africa translated as "City of the Moon".
Plot
Archeologist Benjamin Kazin with the aid of his assistant Sally searches Botswana for what he believes to be the remains of the ancient Phoenician city of Opet.
