Maybe there's a strategy behind this.. Like crying wolf.. Giving them a false sense of security because it sound so ridiculous..
The more he says it, the more they don't believe it.. Until it happens for real.
Come to think of it, the more the media ridicule this, the more it sticks in the minds of the sheep and the more they'll take notice when the lies and fraud are exposed to them.
