What if the USG is guilty of child trafficking?
There are many groups within the DoS responsible for resettlement, disaster relief and orphans/adoptions. Those DoS groups then work with literally hundreds of 'affiliates' who provide services to the children. The DoS also runs Summer Work Travel (SWT) programs, again with a shit ton of 'affiliates' who ostensibly find work and housing for foreign students between school sessions.
Reading an FOIA doc today with Standard Operating Procedures for groups of orphans from Ukraine. Just made the hair on the back of my neck stand up when I read "….perception of impropriety." Immediately thought "they are engaging in bad behavior".
This particular intake center is Virginia Beach and the document is from 2012 (doesn't mean it doesn't still happen). Then I remembered an article that said Va. Beach is a hotbed of missing children. If these are orphans, who would know if some were removed from the system before they ever officially entered it?
The first shallow dig on what will probably be a very deep rabbit hole.
Article from 2017(?)
