So some Presbyterian folks come over on a ship and have a heck of a time acclimating to the new environment. They give thanks to God and all of a sudden a national holiday of eating Turkey ensues?
The true Thanksgiving day. Up until 1863
President has the union soldiers rape, pillage and massacre fellow Americans and then proclaims a national holiday of thanksgiving.
Don't watch the news. Wouldn't know. But this day of Thanksgiving does not make sense. Not saying it is a nefarious day but I am not certain it is what we think it is. I'm certain it is currently a kick off to incredible greed and gluttony but taking a day to give thanks seems awfully wholesome in comparison to all other traditional holidays. I am trying to figure out this tradition that came from a few Pilgrims that struggled greatly sitting down and sharing a meal with natives and then the day becoming a national holiday in 1939. That took a long time to make it a holiday.
I would love to hear Trump tell us that he caught them all.
Wow. Never heard him say such a thing. Wheels of justice move very very slow.
