Brazil's Nuzman sentenced to 30 years in jail for Rio 2016 corruption
Former Rio 2016 and Brazilian Olympic Committee President Carlos Arthur Nuzman has been sentenced to 30 years and 11 months in jail for money laundering, corruption and other crimes connected to buying votes for Rio de Janeiro to host the 2016 Olympics.
First arrested in [October 2017] along with his right-hand man, former Rio 2016 director of operations Leonardo Gryner
Gryner was sentenced to 13 years and 10 months in jail for corruption and criminal organization.
