Kyle Rittenhouse claimed his former lawyers, Lin Wood and John Pierce prolonged his jail time and gave him bad advice.

The 18-year-old, who on Friday was acquitted… told Fox News host Tucker Carlson they raised over $1 million by Sept. 5, 2020, and could have filed to get him released on bail by the middle of that month. Instead, Rittenhouse said he spent nearly three months behind bars.

"Lin Wood was raising money on my behalf, and he held me in jail for 87 days, disrespected my wishes," he said in the interview that aired Monday evening. "They said I was safer in jail instead of at home with my family."

He was released from jail on Nov. 20, 2020, after his lawyers paid a $2 million bail with money raised by donors.

"[They were] trying to raise money so they could take it for their own benefit, not trying to set me free," he said. "They wanted to keep me in jail until Nov. 20."

Rittenhouse also said they gave him bad advice by telling him to do media interviews, including with the Washington Post . He said he should not have done that interview.

You are correct, anon. Fightback had actually set a seperate section for Kyle, so that people knew what their donations were going to.

IIRC, LW wasn't even an "advisor", as KR would have had to have been cleared, first, for any Defamation suits to proceed. LLW was only an advocate, and had only spoken to KR briefly on the phone. He would have been retained upon a non-guilty verdict for Defamation proceedings.

#Fightback was initiated to help those in cases such as Rittenhouse, to help fight wrongful prosecution. Funds were lent to Ricky S by the DONORS (it was never "Lin Wood's $$, as he had reeatedly stated) to get the bail over the hump.

They have been going after Lin Wood since November, 2020 because he was calling out Election Fraud, and filing suits on his own. Him calling out the FRAUD "politicians" have only compounded it.
