Sky Event?

Iridium sats are going RIGHT over Antarctica. I'd imagine they have anti-space shit there if they're not completely idiotic. If the Grace Follow On (anagrams anyone? I see owl and almost an eagle) mission is a space laser they can't shoot it down because it's right under their comm sats.

If i made a secret base I'd have anti-sat capabilities since that's the only thing that could stop me.

If you could force them to launch their sats you could use them as cover because you can't blow up your own comms, esp if you NEED them.
