This underscores the fact that most of what is heard in RS is the kind of gibberish you might expect to year. Has to be run through with careful listening, and the words sometimes jump out at you, even entire phrases. Slowing it down is often helpful. Not sure, but think that now there are programs that can pick out those things that might otherwise slide past the ear.
Another important factor in RS is emotional content. Much more likely to find a RS nugget if the forward speech is emotionally charged.
