I think Some Ukrainians have seen the writing on the wall and realize they can either oversee the slaughter of their youth trying to defend a Russian invasion or can overthrow a puppet government controlled by the west and return to a Moscow aligned government.
It's going to be Russian anyway, so just get as few killed as possible.
EU will be out of energy if they try to defend an invasion. Poland, by itself, is busy holding off a migrant surge.
The new variant has Europe in a tizzy. I live in Europe, The Dutch wouldn't let people in those planes from SA into the general population. Last year, Schipol was always open. Lots of Germans still in SA will be allowed back in, until Sunday.
I have a lot of Chinese students where I live. They never stopped coming and going at the height of the fear in 2020. Even ones from Wuhan. The school here has some kind of exchange program with Wuhan. What I've been told is that the Chinese flew into Schipol and were bussed across the German border at the only crossing that was left open in Venlo, Holland.
That crossing is the main drag from Antwerp/Rotterdam to Eastern Europe. If the Dutch close it, Eastern Europe is fucked. Not many east/west routes across Germany. The one along the north from around Berlin to Kassel to Ruhr and on to Holland is crazy with truck traffic from the east.
That means, to me, the new wave is timed for this coup event, if Zelensky is telling the truth.
EU with no heat, no supply out of Holland and migrants rushing the borders is in the cards.
Just give Ukraine to the Russians and stop the bullshit. No sense in getting Ukrainian kids killed for fuck ups like Brandon. Ukrainians saw everything they need to know about Brandon in Afghanistan.
