Gulf War 1991: When CNN became a HOUSEHOLD name and cable news became mainstream. If you lived through it - you know what I am talking about.
People would rush home from work to (((WATCH))) the war on TV.
It appears perhaps CNN was (((EMPLOYED))) as a C_A asset - helping cable news to take off..perhaps…???
The word that comes to mind is STAGED.
