As always, a little of the truth lies in both points of view. In a technologically advanced society, it is inevitable that jobs will disappear. After all, that is the goal of technology.

It does not necessarily follow that there should be no free market. In a true socialism, (not a joo banker totalitarian state) the essentials are controlled by the people. That has never been tried before. It is always Joos, who control essentials and everything else. There could easily be a system, where the basics are provided by everyone contributing to the infrastructure, which provides it. Only a few hours a week would be needed and only people in a certain age group would be needed to do most of it.

The things you dedicated energy to beyond that would dictate what is valued and comprise the free market.

There would be no need for any basic income if the essentials were provided. transferring currency for them would simply be more wasted energy.

If you want more, use your time to produce. If you want to be a capitalist, that is great!
