China makes COVID-19 anal swabs mandatory for foreigners

China has made anal COVID-19 swabs mandatory for all foreign travelers arriving in the country, a report said Wednesday.

The government has claimed that such tests provide a higher degree of accuracy than other screening methods for the virus, the Times UK reported.

As part of the new travel requirement, there will be testing hubs in Beijing and Shanghai airports, the outlet reported.

Li Tongzeng, a respiratory disease medic, said the anal swabs are better because virus traces stay in fecal samples longer than they do in the nose or throat, state media reported.

The move comes after Japan asked China to stop performing the exams on its citizens when they enter the country because the swabs cause mental anguish.

“Some Japanese reported to our embassy in China that they received anal swab tests, which caused a great psychological pain,” Katsunobu Kato, Japan’s chief cabinet secretary, told a news conference.

Woke ASU Students Issue ‘List of Demands;’ Plan Rally Demanding Kyle Rittenhouse Be Expelled From School

After Kyle Rittenhouse’s acquittal on all counts earlier this month, leftist student activist groups at Arizona State University have issued a ‘list of demands’ that calls on the school to immediately expel him from campus because they claim he is a white supremacist and a “blood-thirsty murderer.”

In addition to issuing their woke demands, radical student organizations like MEChA (Movimiento Estudiantil Chicanx de Aztlán), Students for Socialism, Students for Justice in Palestine, and the Multicultural Solidarity Coalition are planning a rally this week to “get murderer Kyle Rittenhouse off [the] campus.”

Rittenhouse is a student at ASU, but he is not on campus and is enrolled as an online student. He has however expressed interest in attending classes in person at the school.

Despite him only attending the college virtually, organizers are ridiculously calling students and faculty to attend the rally in order to “protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”

“Even with a not-guilty verdict from a flawed ‘justice’ system – Kyle Rittenhouse is still guilty to his victims and the families of those victims. Join us to demand from ASU that these demands be met [and] to protect students from a violent, blood-thirsty murderer.”

US vaccine mandate for troops survives a legal challenge

The Biden administration’s push for vaccine mandates, under fire in courts around the nation, has survived a legal challenge headed by former Trump campaign lawyer Sidney Powell over vaccines in the military.

Powell lost a request to temporarily block the Pentagon’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of disgruntled service members.

The suit didn’t come close to meeting the high bar for winning a preliminary injunction, U.S. District Judge Allen Winsor ruled last Friday in Pensacola, Florida.

The ruling is a crucial early victory for the U.S. Defense Department. A ruling against the U.S. also would have been a blow to President Joe Biden, whose broader vaccine mandate for companies with at least 100 employees was temporarily blocked a week earlier by a federal appeals court in a suit by Republican-led states.
