The sudden demise of Virgil Abloh, Artistic Designer of luxury brand Louis Vuitton's menswear collection, left the world grieving.
The legendary fashion designer, who brought sneakers and other streetwear like hoodies to fashion shows, passed away at the age of 41 on Sunday after years of battling cancer.
Abloh's friends from the Bollywood fraternity took to social media to post tributes and condolences.
In his Insta Story, director and fashionista Karan Johar said that it was heartbreaking to lose an 'immensely talented fashion force'. "He will be sorely missed," he wrote.
'Aisha' actress Sonam Kapoor Ahuja said that she feels for the 'young' and 'dynamic' designer's family. "This is so sad," she captioned her IG Story. She also posted a series of stories mourning Abloh's demise.

The Off-White founder and artistic director of Louis Vuitton’ passed away last week from cancer aged 41.
He had been battling a rare form of cancer called cardiac angiosarcoma privately since 2019.
“We are devastated to announce the passing of our beloved Virgil Abloh, a fiercely devoted father, husband, son, brother and friend,” his family wrote in an Instagram statement.
