A friend of ours had a trip to Europe all set up recently. She's now posting all over Fakebook about how they have to cancel their magical journey because some of their destinations were shut down due to Covid. She's ranting about how the un-vaxxed people over there are spreading their Covid Cooties and ruining their lives. My Wife and I have (several times) seen (and heard) our friend and her husband throw up a cult-like force field of projection when contradicted by someone regarding the Plandemic. Yeah, I know - it's cognitive dissonance - but until the Trump era I rarely encountered it in the wild. Shit freaks me out a little. These people who we'd been enjoying spending time with suddenly replace their engaging demeanor with icy stares and robotic intonations (being Asperger-ish myself I can understand what they're saying). Anyway, I need to share this little set of principles I found by a Kindred Spirit to give me a sense of balance.

"Let me see if I understand this properly. Person A feels that they need the vaccine to be protected, so they get vaccinated. However, Person A doesn't feel protected unless Person B also gets the vaccine. And if Person B refuses to get the vaccine, Person A shames them until they do.

Person B, who is not vaccinated, and who can catch and transmit the virus, has to go through daily/weekly testing and potential quarantine. Why does Person A not have to go through testing and quarantine if they can still catch and transmit the virus?
"And to go even further than that: Person A is vaccinated and, even though they can catch and transmit the virus, can walk into any number of locations that state they will only allow the vaccinated inside. Person B is not vaccinated and, even though they may test negative for the virus, are not allowed inside any of the locations that state they will only allow the vaccinated inside.
"Wanna piece this together now? It boils simply down to segregation and discrimination with no real basis for doing so.

Thank God our founding Fathers had their shit together. Us Americans are a lucky lot to have that backstop against tyranny. I've been praying for the people of Australia a lot lately. What I didn't know and just discovered is that the Australians don't have any sort of constitutional laws that protect their rights. They can't claim a right to free speech, bear arms, etc. - it's a tragic situation for them currently.
