The case numbers can be easily manipulated (or are actually tallying covid jab reactions).
The German health system is "overloaded" because its hospitals have been incentivized to eliminate beds. They get paid extra when more than 70% of the beds are are full. Some have eliminated so many beds (and are thus at 100% capacity) that they have to turn away patients).
CAP shows an example of hospitals deliberately getting rid of beds so they are at 100% occupancy and must turn patients away.
