Thisanon doesn’t know about the ‘selling out’ part, because that would imply ‘knowing’. But if by ‘selling out’ as a euphemism for gullibility, maybe so.
Boomers and their grandchildren are the most gullible and subservient to Authorities thisanon knows. “Gen X” and the great grandchildren of Boomers seem to be a bit more skeptical of the ‘Proclamations of Officialdom’. I say this not as a rock solid for there are always statistical outliers, just a generalization.
And no, the slight-of-hand by the Congress and FED, simply can not be attributed to Boomers… however, the FED could not have grown to the gigantic monster it is today, without the generally sweeping gullibility of the mainline adults through the 50s to the 90s. The con of 9/11, purchased a couple more decades of effective blindfolding the general public. Those are rudimentary and inescapable facts of time and space.
All of the ‘parents’ who have fallen for the con of putting masks on the faces of their children, i think is the most depressing thing this anon has ever seen or heard of.
My mother, a ‘Boomer’, a nice person and a good mother… CAN NOT (yet?) shake her gullibility for the lies told to her by her Government and Media.

Any business that expects to have a future checking the Document Status of common patronage, asif an Agent of The State… deserves to go out of business.
The general public (We the People) are not, and have never been obligated to divulge to each other our medical status, so no reliable Numbers can come from ‘the public’ on such a question. And a “Government” and its Media Mouthpiece lying about everything simply can’t be trusted on any of the numbers They report.
