How about just reading the Bible and getting to know God, your Heavenly Father, on a very personal level. Let the word of God speak to you! There are also home based bible study or fellowships that just concentrate on teaching the word - non-denominational Christian. But even a small group can go wrong. I'd just say stick with the word of God, the word of Truth!
