Ex-Obama Lawyer Tied To Hunter Biden Is Behind Ruby Freeman's Lawsuit Against Gateway Pundit

Ruby Freeman, Wandrea “Shaye” Moss, and Protect Democracy have collaborated to sue The Gateway Pundit after the conservative news powerhouse published photos and videos that The Gateway Pundit, 45th President Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani, and others have suggested show Freeman and Moss committing voter fraud. Georgia authorities say neither Freeman nor Moss acted inappropriately.

National File has learned Protect Democracy is run by a seasoned Democrat operative who served in the Obama administration as associate White House Counsel.

In an article on his website, The Gateway Pundit’s Jim Hoft reported that “On Wednesday Georgia election operatives Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea ‘Shaye’ Moss sued The Gateway Pundit, Jim Hoft and Joe Hoft for allegedly conducting a ‘campaign of lies’ against the two women that led to online and in-person harassment against the two women.”

Hoft continued, “We learned this news earlier today from The New York Times, Washington Post, NBC News, Yahoo, Reuters and several others who were tipped off on the news before it went public.” He added, “The organization behind the lawsuit is called Protect Democracy, a large far-left political organization.”

National File has since learned that Protect Democracy was founded by Ian Bassin, a former associate White House Counsel for President Barack Obama from 2009-2011 who more recently was tapped as part of the questionably named Transition Integrity Project in preparation for the 2020 election.

The Gateway Pundit was the first publication to identify Freeman as the woman who jumped to national prominence after being featured in a presentation delivered by Giuliani. Video showed Freeman and other election workers removing ballots from concealed black cases and processing them late at night, after observers had left the facility. Soon after Freeman was identified, her daughter Moss was identified as the one of the other election workers captured in the security footage.

The website is raising funds for its legal defense via the Christian crowdfunding website Give Send Go, and has raised nearly $80,000 at the time of publication.

On the Protect Democracy website, and in news articles from Reuters and The New York Times, it is claimed that Moss and Freeman became subject to a months long campaign of intimidating and offensive phone calls and messages. These alleged communications were often racist, according to Moss and Freeman.

Protect Democracy describes itself as “a joint website of United to Protect Democracy and the Protect Democracy Project,” one being a 501(c)(4) and one being a 501(c)(3). Both were founded in 2016 with the goal of thwarting the then-incoming Trump administration’s agenda.

Ian Bassin is co-founder of both United to Protect Democracy and the Protect Democracy Project, as well as the executive director of Project Democracy.

Bassin is a Democrat operative and was an associate White House Counsel to President Obama from 2009-2011. After Obama’s second term ended, Bassin became active in anti-Trump politics with the founding of United to Protect Democracy. The organization’s primary aim was to thwart President Trump’s agenda.

Months before Joe Biden was declared the winner amid sharp criticism in November 2020, and before it became clear that President Trump intended to contest the election in several states, Bassin was tapped to become part of the Transition Integrity Project as early as September of 2020. This group aimed to see Joe Biden installed in the White House come January 20, 2021.

Prior to this, Bassin “headed the far-left Avaaz network, founded in turn by the leftist MoveOn.org group, as well as the Truman National Security Project, which has featured lead Joe Biden policy advisor Jake Sullivan and Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden on its board,” according to The National Pulse in an article written on September 14 of last year.

Former congresswoman says being pregnant has bolstered her pro-choice abortion views ==

Former U.S. Rep. Katie Hill said that being pregnant has bolstered her belief that women should be able to have abortions if they do not want to be pregnant.

"I didn’t think it was possible to become more pro-choice than I already was, but after 7 months of pregnancy all I can think about is how wrong it would be to make someone do this who doesn’t want to," Hill tweeted.

Some commenters on social media wondered how a pregnant woman could hold such a view.

"I’ve been pregnant for 8 months, I’ve seen my child move around in ultrasounds, and all I can think about is how anybody could possibly see killing an unborn baby as anything other than evil," Washington Free Beacon social media director Jordan Chamberlain tweeted.

"Can’t imagine feeling a baby kick, hearing their lil heartbeat, and seeing all the ultrasounds but thinking 'yeah I should definitely be able to kill my child,'" tweeted Abigail Marone, press secretary for Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.).

"Yes, if there's one thing to learn from motherhood, it's that everything is about you," tweeted Michael Knowles of the Daily Wire.

The U.S. Supreme Court is deciding whether or not to uphold a Mississippi law that prohibits most abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy.

The court's decision is being closely watched by those on both sides of the abortion debate, as a decision to uphold the Mississippi law would run contrary to the landmark 1973 Roe v. Wade abortion ruling.

Hill, who previously served as a Democratic lawmaker from California in the U.S. House of Representatives, entered office in 2019, but resigned later the same year.

Les Wexner Will Step Down as the Chair of the Columbus Partnership

Huntington CEO Steve Steinour and AEP CEO Nick Akins will replace the longtime chair of the powerful civic organization.

In a long-expected move, Les Wexner will relinquish his position as the chair of the Columbus Partnership in January, stepping aside to allow two other longtime corporate leaders to guide the powerful civic organization.

Wexner announced the change during the Partnership’s October meeting. Succeeding him as co-chairs of the organization’s governing committee are Huntington Bank CEO Steve Steinour and AEP CEO Nick Akins, both of whom have been members of the Partnership for more than a decade. The decision continues the leadership transition occurring at the organization, which will also welcome a new CEO in January: Kenny McDonald, who is replacing Alex Fischer, who’s served as the Partnership’s chief executive for 12 years.

The organization's leaders didn’t announce the latest leadership shift, but Partnership spokeswoman Irene Alvarez confirmed the change on Wednesday. Alvarez says Wexner will remain a member of the governing board and an adviser to the organization’s top leaders. His new title will be "chairman emeritus."

“Columbus has changed and grown, and so has the Partnership’s ability to serve it,” Alvarez said in an email. “What you’re seeing today, in terms of both CEO and board leadership transitions, is the result of succession planning that Alex, Les, and governing board members have been defining over the past couple of years. Les often comments on the importance of making room for new leaders in the community, and now, that belief is being put into practice. Having Nick and Steve take the helm as co-chairs, while Les remains at the table giving advice and counsel, is a condition that is both fortunate and strategic for the Partnership.”

In 2002, Wexner co-founded the Partnership with the late Columbus Dispatch publisher John F. Wolfe and New Albany Co. chairman Jack Kessler, who remains a member of the Partnership and its governing committee, which oversees the organization and its members and hires its chief executive. Since its founding, the Partnership has grown from just a handful of CEOs from the city’s largest companies to more than 70 leaders, including executives from emerging tech companies, nonprofits and smaller businesses.

Through it all, Wexner has been the undisputed guiding force for the organization, which he created to serve as a vehicle for the city’s top business and community leaders to work together to address its most serious challenges. While both Steinour and Akins have become respected community leaders during their tenures with their companies, neither has the standing of Wexner, whose imprint can be seen all over Columbus, from the arts, to the riverfront to Ohio State University.

Blinken says nuclear talks halted because Iran ‘doesn’t seem serious’

Secretary reiterates that US won’t allow Tehran to drag out negotiations while advancing with its nuclear program and that Washington will pursue other options if talks fail

United States Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Friday that this week’s round of negotiations between world powers and Iran in Vienna was halted because Tehran does not seem to be serious about reaching an agreement with the US that would see a joint return to compliance with the nuclear agreement.

“What we’ve seen in the last couple of days is that Iran right now does not seem to be serious about doing what’s necessary to return to compliance, which is why we ended this round of talks in Vienna,” Blinken told Reuters.

The secretary of state said the US would now consult with its allies, including Israel, on how best to move forward. “And we will see if Iran has any interest in engaging seriously, but the window is very, very tight.”

Blinken also reiterated a warning Washington had made numerous times in recent months, that the Biden administration will not allow Iran to drag out the negotiation process — already in its seventh round — all while advancing its nuclear program. “If the path to a return to compliance with the agreement turns out to be a dead-end, we will pursue other options,” Blinken said, while declining to detail what those options are.

He also noted that the sides had made “real progress” in the first six rounds of talks that were held before hardline Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi entered office, leading to a major hiatus in the negotiations.

Israel Tells US to ‘Immediately Halt’ Iran Nuclear Deal Negotiations

Iran has said Israel is spreading lies to 'poison' the negotiations

December 2, 2021

Israel stepped up its opposition to the Iran nuclear deal talks on Thursday and demanded that the US and other world powers put an immediate end to the negotiations.

Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett delivered the message in a call with US Secretary of State Antony Blinken. “Iran is carrying out nuclear blackmail as a negotiating tactic, and this should be answered by the immediate halt to negotiations and the implementation of tough steps by the world powers,” Bennett said, according to a statement released by his office.

Israel claims that Iran has no intention of reducing its nuclear activity back to JCPOA levels and is only trying to buy time to develop a nuclear bomb. But there’s no evidence to support the claim, and Iran has only taken steps to advance its nuclear program in the face of pressure from the US and Israel, and a JCPOA revival would reverse those steps.

Iran has said Israel is spreading lies about Iran to “poison” the negotiations. When the talks first resumed Monday, Israeli media reported that Israel warned the US Tehran is about to enrich uranium to the 90 percent level needed for weapons-grade. But again, there was no evidence to back up the claim.

With the demands from Israeli officials to halt negotiations come threats. Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz said Thursday that attacking Iran must always be an option for Israel, even if the country has to act alone.

Israel has taken extreme measures to sabotage diplomacy between the US and Iran in the past. In April, when the first rounds of negotiations began, Israel carried out an attack on Iran’s Natanz Nuclear Facility. Tehran responded to the incident by starting to enrich some uranium at 60 percent, which Israel now claims is evidence the Iranians are racing towards a bomb.

California officials justify renewing $1.7 billion contract with criticized COVID-19 testing lab

Whistleblowers alleged lab techs were sleeping while processing COVID-19 tests and test swabs were found in the bathroom.

While the state has auto-renewed into a $1.7 billion contract with a previously problem-plagued COVID-19 testing lab, state officials still have a few options to consider moving forward – including termination – pertaining to future contract agreements.

On Nov. 1, the state quietly auto-renewed a $1.7 billion contract with operator PerkinElmer for the Valencia Branch Laboratory, a COVID-19 diagnostic testing lab that whistleblowers told CBS 13 Sacramento in February was plagued with problems. The whistleblowers alleged that lab techs were sleeping while processing COVID-19 tests and that COVID-19 test swabs were found in the bathroom.

The state began an investigation into the lab that spanned many months this year, and the results of the investigation were released Nov. 22 – eight months later than originally promised. Gov. Newsom had previously stated that this report would be available in mid-March, long before the contract with the lab would auto-renew Nov. 1.

Released last week, documents made public revealed the state was set to impose sanctions on the lab as of Oct. 21 for its failure to meet public health and safety requirements. But, on Nov. 10 – little more than a week after the state auto-renewed a contract with the lab – CDPH officials said the lab had corrected deficiencies and no sanctions would be imposed.

Over the course of its investigation into the lab, CDPH found:

The lab failed to “assess competency” for about 55% of total laboratory staff before they were allowed to process, test and report COVID-19 samples. The lab lacked a policy to guide the issuance of corrected results. Investigators found that the lab was changing test results days after notifying patients and did not alert patients of the change. The lab “had several incidents of lost, discarded, and invalidated specimens due to laboratory accidents, scanning errors, incorrect plates used and low volume.”

Additional documents released last week showed that CDPH sent a letter in February to Lab Director Adam Rosendorff, who was previously a lab director at Theranos, informing him that the “deficient practices” of the lab “pose immediate jeopardy to patient health and safety.”

CDPH visited the lab several times, addressing deficiencies found during inspections. The agency announced last week that all issues had been addressed at the lab and there was “no impact to the integrity of the tests processed at the laboratory.” A separate federal investigation into the lab remains ongoing, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Republican legislators criticized the report’s delay after the state had already moved forward with the contract renewal.

“It should not have taken 287 days for Californians to receive answers about this taxpayer-funded COVID testing lab,” Senate Republican Leader Scott Wilk, R-Santa Clarita, said in a statement on Nov. 22.

Wilk, whose district is the home of the Valencia Branch Lab, asked the state twice in October to halt the auto-renewal of the contract, given that the final report had not been released. Now that the report is out, the senator told The Center Square that the state should not have renewed this contract without renegotiating terms.

“These whistleblowers put their careers at risk to come forward because they saw the atrocities that were happening in the lab,” Wilk said. “I feel like they were committed to the public health of Californians, and their state government is not because I don't think [the contract] should have been renewed. And if it was renewed, there should have been additional safeguards. There should have been a reduction in costs, and none of those things happened.”

The terms contained in the lab’s contract appear to afford the state some flexibility should it choose to sever ties.

Judges Confirm GOP Win in Virginia Beach House Seat, Cementing Republican Majority

A three-judge panel on Friday upheld a GOP win in a close Virginia Beach House race, AP reported.

The decision by the judges cemented the GOP’s new majority after Democrats tried derailing the Republican victory with recounts.

Democrats requested recounts in two races which left open the possibility of a 50-50 legislature, however the judges overseeing the recount reaffirmed the GOP majority in the House after making a decision on 85th District.

The other recount in the 91st District is still ongoing, however the Democrats have no shot at taking the majority in the House.

Democrats still hold a slim majority in the Senate.

Republicans won the governor’s race, the state Attorney General, the state Lieutenant Governor’s race in last month’s election.

2,000+ Employees File Lawsuit Against United Airlines Over Unconstitutional Vaccine Mandate

More than 2,000 employees filed a class-action lawsuit against United Airlines for religious and medical discrimination over the unconstitutional vaccine mandatory.

Captain Sherry Walker, the co-founder of Airline Employees 4 Health Freedom, told The Gateway Pundit that many of her colleagues have been terminated by United for not violating their faith, or for being too ill to take the shot.

“The stories are sad and evil. Our woke CEO is harming our people and perpetuating the destruction of our nation for his bottom line,” she added.

The lawsuit is headed to the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals in Louisiana and they need help raising funds. You can offer your support by donating to their GiveSendGo or visiting their website AE4HF.org.

Here’s a copy of the letter they sent out to our legislators:

On August 6, 2021, United Airlines CEO, Scott Kirby, announced a vaccine mandate for all employees, regardless of their medical condition or religious beliefs. Of course, Kirby never intended to actually provide reasonable accommodations (see video), as he commanded his lieutenants to develop a draconian and retaliatory process. This effort, we believe, exploits the pandemic for marketing purposes affording him the ability to tout UAL as the only “all vaccinated airline”.

Few employees, steadfast in their faith or determined to maintain medical autonomy, survived the process as UAL attacked the employees they claimed to value as essential during the pandemic. Managers threatened termination, conducted public shaming, and mounted fear campaigns, but the faithful stood firm. To date, the only reasonable accommodation offered is indefinite, unpaid leave without benefits along with a restriction against outside employment. Effectively, UAL is making it impossible for any employee to survive with reasonable accommodation.

Evil Is The Root Of All (Fiat) Money

“So you think that money is the root of all evil. Have you ever asked what is the root of all money?”

-Ayn Rand

Money used to be a stable medium of exchange and a store of value but that was in the days when there were sound monetary principles, mostly backed by gold or silver.

Since 1913 and especially 1971 there is no discipline and no morals when it comes to the issuing of money as unlimited amounts of fake fiat money is printed at will.

In today’s fiat money world, there is only one answer to Rand’s question “What is the root of all money?”, namely:

“Evil is the root of all fiat money.”

– Egon von Greyerz

On the IMF (International Monetary Fund) website there is an article stating that “Money is something that holds its value” – Hmmm…..

The meeting of bankers and politicians on Jekyll Island in November 1910 laid the foundations for the Federal Reserve Bank. Three years later in 1913 the Fed was founded.

From that moment on, private bankers were running the US monetary system including the printing of money. But the British pound, backed by gold until 1931, was the global currency of choice until then.
