I recall long ago when massage parlors used to be back ally establishments along the lines of tattoo parlors. Everyone knew they were a front for prostitution. Then, maybe around in the 1980s they became "legitimate" massage therapy places.

I see this as just another way of them normalizing things in the public eye to make things seem innocent.
