BEIJING (AP) — China's Communist Party took American democracy to task on Saturday, sharply criticizing a global democracy summit being hosted by President Joe Biden next week and extolling the virtues of its governing system.

Party officials questioned how a polarized country that botched its response to COVID-19 could lecture others, and said that efforts to force others to copy the Western democratic model are “doomed to fail.”

Elections have been rigged for a long time. I was a kid & I knew that Ross Perot had a lot of people who voted for him but he still didn’t win because of the 2 party system. Elections can’t be fair with the limit of a 2 party system.

They showed crying parents, pictures of a beautiful little girl, and they made people obsessed with the story. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) went on the defensive this week when asked by FOX Business about preventing slave labor in China.

"One of the things that Senator Rubio has said is that the reason why the House has not voted on that Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act is because [U.S. Special Presidential Envoy for Climate] John Kerry has lobbied you and others not to act on it and to slow-walk it, so it doesn’t complicate his climate change negotiations with China. Is that true?" asked FOX Business’ Hillary Vaughn.

"No, it is not true, and you know, again, if you want to repeat the charges of the Republicans, that’s up to you, but that is completely not true," Pelosi fired back.
