It's more like he compressed the vax phase in period that Fauci wanted kept at 4 or 5 years. Just enough to fuck up a Trump 2nd term.

A vaccine was already out there, developed via HIV research. It wasn't a big deal to retool. One of my kids knows some of the researchers for one of the vaxxes. Kid says it was no biggie, and I'm guessing Trump heard the same, so he walked over Fauci's rollout plan.

Go with the theory that viruses, or pathogens in general, become more infective but less virulent as they mutate. It could be the vaccine Trump was shown was very effective against the original virulent strain.

The variants will infect more, and there will still be deaths because the incidence number is higher. For example, using make up numbers for clarity, if the original pathogen killed 5% of those it infected and the new variants kills 1% but infects 5x as many people you will have as many Covid deaths.

The survival rate is a lot higher, though, and assuming the vaccine itself still kills at the same % rate the risk of dying from the vaccine but not Covid becomes a lot higher when controlled against just the variants.

It may may be the original virus still out there, too. So the presumed benefit of the original vaccine against that strain is still present. You just don't need it for the variants. Might be Trump's take, not sure.

Very likely we're looking at a situation where Fauci's boys are using the variants as plan B after Trump fucked up their 5 year original vax rollout plan.

The Sheriff already hung them. Entire school administration needs to resign. This is just buying time.

If you have a SRO, the SRO should have been in the parent's meeting with the topic being as it is. Very likely SRO is LE trained and would glean more from the kid and the parents than the school admin. He would report to local LE.

Big point yet to be revealed is if SRO attended.

The other point is if the school psychologist made the recommendation that the lid submit to therapy. Should be that way. Non-medical school admin can't make that call, IMO.

If the psychologist says kid needs suspending until an eval, and the principal suspends, then the kid is trespassing if he refuses to leave. Parents have no say. LE called in for trespassing. Don't buy the story that the parents refused to have the kid suspended.

Have to remember the initial reports of students knowing the night before something was going to happen. Kid had been in to see the principal the day before and the day of the shooting, too. That stuff gets around town. Other staff would have almost certainly known. IRL you tell what you hear to the SRO.

Sheriff, it seems, is saying he wasn't aware of gun threat. Washing his fucking hands, if you ask me, because he knows the school fucked up beyond any measure the Sheriff can take to reconcile what they did. He's not going to cover their ass with his department and men. Usual SOP is to not discuss due to investigation, etc. My take.

Have been involved in this type of shit. Have to avoid the knee jerk of thinking of SROs like the Broward county limp dick. Some are retired LE and know the ropes. Need them to sit in those parent interviews if they are available.

Wait for the SRO statement.
