The Biden administration quietly waived sanctions on Iran to allow the hardline regime to sell electricity to Iraq, according to a non-public notification obtained by the Washington Free Beacon that was provided to Congress just as nuclear talks between the United States and Tehran resumed this week.

The timing of the waiver notification—which was signed Nov. 19 but not transmitted to Congress until Nov. 29, the day nuclear negotiations resumed—has prompted accusations the Biden administration is offering concessions to Tehran to generate goodwill as talks aimed at securing a revamped version of the 2015 nuclear deal restart following a months-long standoff.

A US official said Saturday that Iran had backed away from all its previous compromises on reviving the 2015 nuclear deal and that the US would not allow Iran to “slow walk” the international negotiations while at the same time ramping up its atomic activities.

The warning came a day after Washington hit out at Iran, saying talks with world powers on a return to the 2015 nuclear accord had stalled because Tehran “does not seem to be serious.”

“We can’t accept a situation in which Iran accelerates its nuclear program and slow walks its nuclear diplomacy,” said a senior US administration official — echoing a recent warning by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken.

Speaking to reporters after returning from the Austrian capital, the official said Washington was not yet planning to walk away from the indirect talks that it resumed with Tehran last week in Vienna, but hoped Iran would return “with a serious attitude.”

Mayor de Blasio Announces Forced Vaccines for All Private Companies and Forced Vaccines for All Children Ages 5-11 if They Want to Eat Out

Mayor Bill de Blasio will require ALL private sector employees to be vaccinated starting in three weeks on December 27th. The Marxist New York City Mayor will also force children age 5 and older to take the vaccine if they want to eat at restaurants or participate in extracurricular activities.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) on Monday announced a new COVID vaccine mandate for all private companies.

Why it matters: De Blasio, speaking on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” said the “first-in-the-nation measure” will go into effect starting Dec. 27. It will apply to approximately 184,000 businesses.

There is no weekly testing option.

The city had already imposed a vaccine mandate for city workers.

Details: De Blasio also said children between the ages of 5 and 11 will be required to show proof of vaccination to access indoor dining, as well as fitness and entertainment venues starting Dec. 14. Proof of at least one vaccine dose will be enough to allow kids to participate in those activities.

Kids in this age group will also need to get vaccinated to participate in extracurricular activities, such as sports, band, orchestra and dance.

New Yorkers aged 12 and older must now show they have had two doses of the vaccine, except for those who have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Revealed: Feds Are Investigating Trump’s Media Company While They Ignore Hunter Biden’s Laptop and Shady Deals with China, Russia, Ukraine

The Security and Exchange Commission is now investigating President Trump’s upcoming media venture. According to Business Insider the SEC has requested documents about “meetings of the partner company’s board of directors, “policies and procedures relating to trading,” identification of certain investors, and copies of communication between the partner company and Trump’s new organization.”

Donald Trump’s new social media company forecasts it may have 81 million users by 2026, or nearly 7 million more people than voted for him in the last U.S. presidential election.

The projection was filed on Monday with securities regulators by the company trying to bring Trump Media & Technology Group to the stock market. The company, Digital World Acquisition Corp., said over the weekend that it has lined up $1 billion in promised investments for the former president’s new venture from a group of unnamed institutional investors, and it filed a copy of the presentation used to pitch investors and analysts.

The filing also said that the deal has attracted some scrutiny from regulators. Digital World Acquisition, which is often referred to by its trading symbol of “DWAC,” said it is cooperating with “the preliminary, fact-finding inquiries” by the Financial Industry Regulation Authority and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The Financial Industry Regulation Authority, or FINRA, asked in late October and early November for a review of trading in its stock before the Oct. 20 merger deal was announced. That announcement sent shares of DWAC surging from $9.96 to $94.20 in just two days as Trump supporters and investors looking to make a quick buck piled in. The shares have since pulled back to roughly $43.

At the same time the federal government is ignoring Hunter Biden’s laptop, his illegal drug use and orgies, and his several shady deals with China, Russia and the Ukraine.

Putin announces military partnership between Russia and India

Russia and India have plans to work together across a range of military matters, including joint exercises, President Vladimir Putin revealed on Monday.

His comments came during a meeting with Narendra Modi, the Indian prime minister, in New Delhi to discuss the long-term partnership of their nations in a number of spheres, including energy, space travel, Covid-19 vaccine production, and medicine. Putin opened the discussions by explaining that the countries were planning to “develop relations in the international arena, as well as directly in the military sphere.”

“We are conducting joint military exercises, in both Indian territory and Russian territory,” he said. “We thank you for your attention to this component of our work. And we plan to work more in this direction.”

The Russian leader also went on to say that his nation was collaborating on military technology with India more closely than with any other partner. “Together, we’re working on developing high-grade military products and manufacturing, including in India,” he said.

Earlier that day, leaders from both countries had concluded an agreement to collaborate on military technology from 2021 to 2030.

On the subject of Russia’s relationship with India, Putin commented, “We treat India as a great power, with a people who are friendly to us, and with a remarkable history of relations between us.”

Sergey Lavrov, Russia’s foreign minister, also announced on Monday that Russia would like to involve India in discussions about Afghanistan along with China, Pakistan, and the US. “As far as we are concerned, there is every reason to engage countries such as India and Iran in the group’s activities,” the Russian top diplomat said.

Trump Media Venture Slides As SEC Demands Documents

Shares of the new Trump media SPAC skidded Monday shortly after US markets opened after the firm announced over the weekend that it had succeeded in raising a $1 billion private capital infusion - more formally known as a "PIPE" - valuing the shell company with Trump's name on it at $4 billion.

Apparently, the SPAC's surging valuation has caught the eye of authorities, which is why DWAC was forced to announce Monday that it is cooperating with the SEC, sending its shares sputtering lower.

Shares were off $10 from their recent highs on the news.

In an 8-k filing, the company revealed that it has received notifications from both FINRA and the SEC demanding documents. The company insists it's cooperating.

DWAC has received certain preliminary, fact-finding inquiries from regulatory authorities, with which it is cooperating. Specifically, in late October and in early November 2021, DWAC received a request for information from FINRA, surrounding events (specifically, a review of trading) that preceded the public announcement of the October 20, 2021 Merger Agreement. According to FINRA’s request, the inquiry should not be construed as an indication that FINRA has determined that any violations of Nasdaq rules or federal securities laws have occurred, nor as a reflection upon the merits of the securities involved or upon any person who effected transactions in such securities. Additionally, in early November 2021, DWAC received a voluntary information and document request from the SEC which sought, inter alia, documents relating to meetings of DWAC’s Board of Directors, policies and procedures relating to trading, the identification of banking, telephone, and email addresses, the identities of certain investors, and certain documents and communications between DWAC and TMTG. According to the SEC’s request, the investigation does not mean that the SEC has concluded that anyone violated the law or that the SEC has a negative opinion of DWAC or any person, event, or security.

Both regulators are sniffing around for rule violations, but at least the SEC is being somewhat transparent about the fact that this is a massive fishing expedition. But we can't help but wonder if they would be as aggressive under a Republican administration?

As one of the creators of the Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid vaccine, Dame Sarah expressed fears during her talk that the Omicron variant could be able to evade the protection provided by the jabs.

Looking at mutations within the spike protein in the new strain, the professor highlighted how “additional changes” could mean antibodies provided by existing vaccines are “less effective at preventing infection."

While scientists explore the risk posed by Omicron, Dame Sarah urged officials to take a “cautious” approach and impose measures “to slow down the spread of this new variant.”

World Bank Admits Pfizer Will Only Give Vaccines to Countries in Which Citizens Can’t Sue Them for Injuries

Imagine the audacity it takes for a company who is ostensibly helping to stop a pandemic to tell people they can’t have their “life-saving” medicine unless said company can harm them with impunity. There is no need to imagine, as this is the situation in which we currently find ourselves.

It is no secret that removing someone’s liability also removes their incentive to create safer products and actually encourages careless behavior. Vaccine manufacturers are no stranger to this process and since 1988, the U.S. taxpayers have shelled out over $4 billion to pay for the damages caused by vaccines — not the manufacturers.

In 1988, largely due to vaccine makers lobbying the government to alleviate their liability, The National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (NVICP) was established.

After an uptick in lawsuits in the late 80’s, the vaccine manufacturers essentially held the government hostage and threatened to stop making vaccines unless the government took on responsibility for vaccine injury lawsuits — and NVICP did just that.

You can actually prove that you or your child were harmed from a vaccine yet the vaccine maker is completely shielded from liability. Even if you are awarded monetary compensation through the NVICP, the taxpayers are put on the line, not the vaccine makers. This removal of liability has created the incentive to turn out new vaccines with very little testing, as the companies don’t have to worry about financial hardships for injuring people, which in turn has shaped the situation that we find ourselves in today. In the last 2 decades, we’ve witnessed a near 300% increase in the number of CDC recommended vaccines.

Now, we have companies like Pfizer turning out a vaccine that was developed and approved in only eight months and they had absolutely zero incentive to devote resources to the in depth study of its safety. In fact, as we reported, the British Medical Journal published an incendiary report exposing faked data, blind trial failures, poorly trained vaccinators, and a slow follow-up on adverse reactions in the phase-three trial of Pfizer’s Covid jab.

Seems like a company who has no worry of liability, doesn’t it?

The NVICP doesn’t go far enough for Pfizer, however, and with the Emergency Use Authorization of its product last year, an entirely new form of immunity was rolled out. If you are injured by one of the COVID-19 jabs, you don’t get to use the NVICP because no COVID-19 vaccine is on their list of “covered vaccines.”

Instead, last year under Donald Trump, then Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar invoked the Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP). The 2005 law empowers the HHS secretary to provide legal protection to companies making or distributing critical medical supplies, such as vaccines and treatments, unless there’s “willful misconduct” by the company. The protection lasts until 2024.

Sony fires PlayStation executive allegedly caught in pedophilia sting

A top Sony executive has been fired after he was allegedly caught in an amateur pedophilia sting operation posted on YouTube.

George Cacioppo — the senior vice president from the team behind PlayStation — allegedly tried to arrange a meeting with a 15-year-old boy, according to a video posted by the YouTube channel People v. Preds.

Cacioppo has been at PlayStation for more than eight years, according to his LinkedIn profile, and he most recently served as senior vice president of engineering.

“We are aware of the situation and the employee in question has been terminated from employment,” Sony said Sunday in a statement to CNET.

Cacioppo didn’t return The Post’s request for comment.

People v. Preds, an amateur sting operation meant to catch sexual predators who meet victims online, identified Cacioppo as a 64-year-old who was allegedly trying to arrange a meeting with a 15-year-old boy at 4:30 a.m.

In the video, the cameraman walks down a street toward a house that Cacioppo — wearing a black PlayStation 5 T-shirt — is standing in front of.

The cameraman, referring to Cacioppo as “Jeff,” asks him whom he’s planning on meeting.

“We can have a conversation or I can call the cops,” the cameraman says as Cacioppo turns around and begins to walk back into the house.

Cacioppo closes the door to the house and the cameraman then begins shouting threats that he’ll call the police.

The video has racked up more than 112,000 views since it was streamed live Friday.

The Post could not access the alleged chat logs between Cacioppo and People v. Peds, but CNET reported that Cacioppo contacted the decoy minor on Grindr, a dating app for gay, bi, trans and queer people.

The two exchanged pictures and Cacioppo told the decoy that his name was “Jeff,” according to CNET.

He then allegedly gave his address in order to have sex with the purported 15-year-old boy, according to CNET’s review of the logs.

US Officially Announces Diplomatic Boycott Of Beijing Winter Olympics

The Biden administration has officially announced a diplomatic boycott of the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, China, an announcement that was widely expected, WSJ reports.

A diplomatic boycott means that no U.S. government officials are attending the Games, but U.S. athletes will still be present.

On Monday, ahead of the expected announcement, China's Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian said, "the Winter Olympics is not a stage for political show and political manipulation." He said a boycott "severely tarnishes the spirit of the Olympic Charter."

Zhao said Beijing would take strong countermeasures to any boycott, potentially impacting Sino-US talks.

On Nov. 16, WaPo's Josh Rogin cited multiple U.S. administration officials who said the Biden administration was planning to announce a diplomatic boycott of the Beijing Winter Olympics. Then last week, Communist Party-backed Global Times wrote a piece that said Beijing has "no plans to invite U.S. and Western politicians" who hype the "boycott" of the Winter Games.

The move behind the boycott comes as President Biden has been under pressure by lawmakers to do more to address China's human rights abuses. Beijing has been criticized for cracking down on pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong and detaining Muslim Uyghurs in Xinjiang.

"We have serious concerns about the human rights abuses that we've seen," White House press secretary Jen Psaki said last month.

Joe Biden Abolishes 90 Percent of ICE’s Deportations

President Joe Biden has slashed the deportation of illegal migrants from 25 cities by roughly 90 percent, so helping business groups with a flood of desperate, low-wage workers.

Biden’s business giveaway was revealed by the Center for Immigration Studies, which also showed that Biden’s deputies have reduced by two-thirds the deportation of criminal migrants who threaten Americans and the nation’s growing population of illegal migrants.

Only 18,713 illegals were formally “removed” — deported — from 25 interior cities, such as Atlanta, Baltimore, and Miami, from January to July in 2021, according to the data from the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency. The 2021 removal number includes only 6,000 migrants convicted of serious crimes, such as MS-13 migrants.

In 2019, under Trump, 186,019 migrants were removed from the 25 cities, including 17,553 migrants convicted of serious crimes. Amid the Trump enforcement, employers were forced to raise wages, especially for lower-income Americans.

In 2020, despite the coronavirus crash, Trump’s deputies removed 93,247 migrants from the cities, including 13,120 migrants convicted of serious crimes.

In 2021, the 25-cities’ deportation rate has dropped to roughly 3,000 per month since the Senate’s confirmation of Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden’s appointee to run the Department of Homeland Security.

Cocaine Traces Found in UK Parliament Amidst Reports of Widespread Drugs Abuse

The Speaker of the House of Commons is taking seriously reports of widespread drugs abuse amid traces of cocaine being found in several lavatories in Parliament, saying he will raise the allegations with Scotland Yard.

The House of Commons Commission is also considering using sniffer dogs, following reports from The Times on Sunday alleging evidence of the Class A drug cocaine in Parliamentary toilets. Whistleblowers claim that widespread drug abuse is an “open secret” on the Parliamentary Estate, not just amongst staff but MPs, also.

The newspaper of record had claimed that drugs detection wipes, commonly used in nightclubs, found evidence of cocaine in 11 out of 12 restrooms tested on the Parliamentary Estate, including in the toilets near the private office of Prime Minister Boris Johnson and Home Secretary Priti Patel.

Other places where drugs reportedly were found on the Estate — which is comprised of the Palace and other parliamentary buildings in Westminster — include three toilets in Portcullis House, the toilet near the press gallery, the lavatories close to the Lords’ bar and Strangers’ Bar (which is for MPs, officers of Parliament, and their staff and guests), and the men’s bathroom behind the Speaker’s chair.

The claims come two months after a report suggested that drug dealers had been arrested and 17 narcotics offences had taken place in Parliament last year. The year before, it was revealed that a prison launched a drugs probe after a letter sent to an inmate from Parliament had triggered the drugs detection system and was found to have traces of ecstasy.

A whistleblower in Parliament wrote for The Times that drugs use in Parliament was an “open secret”, claiming it was “relatively common” to “see people, particularly MPs’ staff, who are messed up. You see them wandering the halls, with a glazed look, staggering about.”

YouTube slapped an age restriction notice on French presidential candidate Éric Zemmour’s campaign announcement video.

“You must now present your identity papers to have the right to watch the video of my declaration of candidacy. The thought police are no longer even hiding: they are showing off their tyrannical nature. The real fight begins,” a Google translation of Zemmour’s tweet in reaction to the censorship reads.

The video, which was posted on Tuesday and has accumulated more than 2.5 million views, features the French journalist explaining why he chose to run for president overlayed with clips from the news and clips showing the European country.

“For decades, the left and the right have led us to this deadly path of decline and decadence,” a translation of Zemmour’s speech in French reads. “Left and right, they have lied to you. They have hidden the gravity of our decline. They have hidden the reality of our replacement. You have known me for years. You know my opinions, my analyses, my predictions.”

Zemmour, who has been branded by the corporate media as a “far-right candidate,” goes on to explain that he always thought a “politician would eventually take up the torch” but “Just like you, I can no longer trust.”

The administration lobbies against a human rights measure to pave the way for a climate deal

As Vladimir Putin mobilizes forces on the Ukraine border and Chinese submarines patrol the Taiwan Strait, President Joe Biden’s State Department has made its priorities clear: The slave-made solar panels must flow.

Republican senator Marco Rubio (Fla.) and Democratic senator Jeff Merkley (Ore.) introduced a bill in January prohibiting the importation of goods made with forced labor from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region, where a genocide perpetrated by the Chinese government is afoot. It passed the Senate in a voice vote in July.

It was more controversial at Foggy Bottom, where we now know that Deputy Secretary of State Wendy Sherman and John Kerry, Biden’s special envoy for climate, have been lobbying their fellow Democrats against including the measure in the annual defense bill.

The reasons are equally comical and demented. Kerry is lusting for a Nobel Peace Prize for his climate work, which requires the cooperation of the Chinese. To hell with the Uyghurs so long as Kerry gets the international accolades that his failed presidential run and bumbling tenure as secretary of state didn’t give him.

Xinjiang is home to roughly half of the world’s supply of polysilicon, a raw material used to produce solar panels. A ban on its importation would send a message to the Chinese communists that the United States won’t tolerate its barbarous behavior.

Merkley deserves credit for his unwavering support for the bill. The same can’t be said for his Democratic colleagues: House leadership won’t allow any deliberations on China-related legislation this week, despite empty assurances from the White House that it supports the bill’s swift passage.

This isn’t just a scandal. It’s a moral stain on the Biden administration, whose chief diplomat, Antony Blinken, routinely invokes his stepfather—a Holocaust survivor—when it’s politically convenient.

No word from him yet on the Uyghurs, but we assume his deputy speaks for him, and the president, in urging Democrats to toss human rights under the bus in service of a climate deal.

Rohingya refugees bring $150 billion lawsuit against Facebook

The refugees are arguing that the tech giant did not do enough to prevent the spread of anti-Rohingya propaganda and misinformation

Rohingya refugees from Myanmar are suing Facebook for $150 billion over allegations that the massive tech company failed to appropriately act against anti-Rohingya hate speech that fueled what would become intensive real-world violence against the group.

Rohingya refugees in the U.S. and the U.K. filed similar suits in those courts, stating in a complaint, "Facebook is like a robot programmed with a singular mission: to grow. And the undeniable reality is that Facebook’s growth, fueled by hate, division, and misinformation, has left hundreds of thousands of devastated Rohingya lives in its wake."

Attorneys representing the refugees will attempt to apply international law to the claims, since U.S. under (the controversial) Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, internet companies are provided with liability protection for content posted by third parties.

The suit alleges that Facebook algorithms tend to encourage "susceptible users join extremist group," creating a situation that is "naturally open to exploitation by autocratic politicians and regimes."

"As such, Facebook’s arrival in Burma provided exactly what the military and its civilian terrorists were praying for," continues the complaint, which goes on to allege that the company "barely reacted and devoted scant resources" to address the threats despite being "repeatedly alerted between 2013 and 2017 to the vast quantities of anti-Rohingya hate speech and misinformation on its system."

The suit draws on the testimony earlier this year of Facebook whistleblower Frances Haugen, who told multiple congressional panels that here former employer is "fanning ethnic violence" in areas beyond the U.S.

"What we saw in Myanmar and are now seeing in Ethiopia are only the opening chapters of a story so terrifying, no one wants to read the end of it," she said, claiming that the tech giant understands what changes need to be made to make the online platforms safer, but has repeatedly failed to make them.

The International Criminal Court is currently investigating whether the Myanmar military committed large-scale war crimes against the Rohingya population. Several years ago, between 600,000 and 1 million Rohingya were forcibly displaced from Myanmar – most fled to neighboring Bangladesh, though there are pockets of refugees in several western countries.

In 2018, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg and COO Sheryl Sandberg issued a statement that an independent commission found that the company had not been doing enough to ensure that the platform was not being used globally to "foment division and incite offline violence."

Omicron Variant Is ‘Dangerous’ For Unvaccinated Former Biden Advisor Warns

Not getting vaccinated against COVID as the Omicron variant spreads across the U.S. is “dangerous,” according to former White House advisor Andy Slavitt, who believes that the current vaccines are going to provide immunity against the new COVID strain.

Slavitt, who was previously a senior advisor on the Biden administration’s coronavirus response team, told CNBC’s “Squawk Box Asia,” “What we know for sure is that it is a dangerous variant for people who have not been vaccinated.

“What we have to get to learn is whether or not Omicron — how it spreads in an environment where Delta is strong,” he added.

The Omicron variant, which was first detected in South Africa, has been identified in at least 17 states in the U.S., with the first case reported in San Francisco on Wednesday.

Cases of the variant have been reported around the globe, including countries such as Germany, Japan, Russia, Spain, Italy, the U.K., Norway and Canada.

While the severity and transmissibility of the Omicron variant are still unknown, health experts have suggested that symptoms are mild, especially in those who are vaccinated.

Dr. Jerome Kim, the director general of the International Vaccine Institute, told CNBC’s “Street Signs Asia” on Monday, “The presence of either vaccine or previous infection … will mitigate any disease that occurs. We really can’t tell if it’s actually more severe if it were in a natural setting, or if it’s now less severe because of the presence of pre-existing immune responses.”

Drugmakers such as Pfizer and Moderna are testing their COIVD vaccines for effectiveness against the Omicron variant, previously saying that a reformulation of the shot would be ready as soon as early 2022.

But Slavitt believes the current vaccine will be effective as he told CNBC, “I think we have good reason to believe that the vaccines are effective, if not as effective, and that with boosters, they’ll be quite effective. But pharma’s also going back to the drawing board.”

The Biden administration is urging unvaccinated Americans to get their COVID shot and those who are vaccinated to get their booster dose, saying it is the best line of defense against the Omicron variant.

Critical Race Trove From California District Tells Students How To Use Witchcraft On People Who Say ‘All Lives Matter’

Critical race theory has been fully institutionalized at the California high school district that tried to reeducate me six years ago when I first pushed back.

While documenting my former high school’s attempt to indoctrinate me with critical race theory six years ago, I remarked that now, several years later, “the situation has undoubtedly worsened.” Worsened it has. Now, Campbell Union High School District has promoted more than 100 “equity resources” to students and staff, including a document that taught students how to put a curse on those who say “all lives matter.”

Colorblindness, Cops, and Curses

The page serves as a vast library for CRT resources and features 60 different links, including a Google Drive folder with 45 different documents. The list made sure to include the full range of CRT buzzwords, with links like Raising Race Conscious Children, the infamous 1619 Project, Anti-Racism for Beginners, and Social Identities and Systems of Oppression, among others.

One link takes you to an “Anti-Racism Resource List,” which teaches about “white fragility” and claims that racism can only be perpetrated by white people. One of the “resources” provided was a Trevor Noah speech labeled “Why rioting makes sense,” followed by an unhinged anti-white rant from Sonya Renee Taylor, demanding that white people “throw your white body” on police officers and “put their bodies on the line for the purpose of justice.”

The list also addresses white people when it says, “We are socialized into white supremacy from the moment we are born” before going on to say “It is about completely dismantling how you see yourself and how you see the world, so that you can dismantle … white supremacy.”

Samuel Martin graduated from CUHSD’s Branham High School in 2019 and was appalled by the district’s actions. He told The Federalist, “The idea that white students must ‘dismantle themselves’ in the context of their personality is cultish. Not only is it cultish, but it is deliberate in that this school system wants its’ white students to hate themselves. Do these people honestly think that drilling racial identitarianism into childrens’ heads from a young age is going to make them less racist?”

CUHSD also links to the Black Lives Matter Resource Guide, specifically their section labeled “high school,” which itself includes 45 different texts. Amid a wide variety of CRT inspired assignments is a document that includes writing prompts on police brutality and racist violence.

Massachusetts Hospital Fires 200 Employees For Not Getting Covid Vaccine

UMass Memorial fired 200 employees because they didn’t get the Covid vaccine by the hospital system’s deadline.

The company said its priority is “protecting their patients” and they did that by firing healthcare workers.

CBS Boston reported:

About 200 UMass Memorial Health employees are out of a job because they missed the health care system’s COVID vaccination deadline.

UMass Memorial announced the mandate over the summer with a deadline to get vaccinated or receive an exemption by November 1.

Employees were let go on December 1 if they did not get the vaccine.

The hospital said it hoped everyone would get their shots, but the priority is protecting patients and other caregivers.

CNN's Tapper rips Hollywood, NBA, Nike over lust for Chinese money: 'There is no amount of money that can buy enough soap to wash that blood off their hands'

CNN host Jake Tapper unloaded on Hollywood, the NBA, and more for what he said was turning a blind eye to human rights atrocities in China and instead taking the communist country's money hand over fist at each and every possible opportunity.

During Sunday's conclusion of CNN's "State of the Union," Tapper lauded the Women's Tennis Association for standing up for morality and speaking out against brutalities against its people — "something that few other athletic organizations or corporations in general have been willing to do: criticize the Chinese government and take serious steps to protest its brutality."

Tapper added that American businesses should follow the lead of the Women's Tennis Association — which canceled all events it was supposed to hold in China after tennis player Peng Shuai accused former Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli of sexual assault.

He then hit out at the NBA and International Olympic Committee — which are in the process of holding events and planning to hold the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics in February.

“Not only is the [International Olympic Committee] not raising its voice in solidarity in protest, the IOC is helping the Chinese government by providing cover,” Tapper added.

The IOC has previously insisted that it spoke to Shuai regarding the allegations, but Tapper said that more needs to be done.

"Yes, the Olympics are supposed to be free and without politics," he said. "But this is not about politics — the allegations against the Chinese government go far beyond its treatment of Shuai."

Tapper also pointed the finger at Hollywood and Disney in particular over its recent decision to film live-action "Mulan" in Xinjiang, where more than 1 million Uyghur Muslims have been placed in internment camps.

“The millionaires and billionaires of Hollywood and the NBA and the IOC and Wall Street are all so eager for Chinese cash, they’re pretending none of this is happening,” Tapper insisted. "Of course, Apple and Nike publicly claim to decry slave labor. But to be clear, the behavior we are seeing from U.S. corporations is not about a company surviving: It's about discontent with just hundreds of millions of dollars, desiring instead billions of dollars."

He concluded, “There is no amount of money that can buy enough soap to wash that blood off their hands.”

With President Vladimir Putin on a landmark visit in India, New Delhi has confirmed that deliveries of Russian S-400 missile defense systems, which caused a furious backlash from Washington, are going ahead as planned.

Both countries signed a $5.4-billion deal for five of the surface-to-air systems in 2018.

“Supplies have begun this month and will continue to happen,” the Indian foreign ministry said, as Putin arrived on Monday.

According to NDTV, the first units of the weapon, once branded a “booster dose” by India’s Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa, are already being deployed by the country’s military.

India has proceeded with the S-400 contract despite pressure from Washington, which passed a law in 2017 making anyone buying Russian weapons systems potentially subject to US sanctions.

“We witnessed attempts on the part of the United States to undermine this cooperation and to make India obey the American orders, to follow the American vision of how this region should be developed,” Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told Indian news agency ANI on Monday.

Back in October, however, a group of US lawmakers introduced a bill that would exempt New Delhi from the Countering America’s Adversaries Through Sanctions Act (CAATSA) law, as Washington continues its efforts to play India off against China.

Another major weapons deal that has been finalized during Putin’s visit would license Indian production of Kalashnikov AK-203 rifles, in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh.
