Ghislaine Maxwell asked teen to recruit others for oral sex: witness
A former British model took the stand Monday to detail how she was allegedly lured into Jeffrey Epstein’s orbit by Ghislaine Maxwell at 17 — and asked to recruit other girls to give him oral sex.
The woman, identified only as “Kate” for privacy reasons, testified that the British socialite introduced her to Epstein at Maxwell’s London townhouse in the early 1990s and convinced her to give him a sexual massage soon after.
Maxwell even tried to get Kate to recruit others to give the late pedophile oral sex, telling her he liked “cute, young, pretty” girls, “like you.”
“She would ask me if I knew anybody to come and give Jeffrey a blowjob because it was a lot for her to do,” recalled Kate, who is also a former actress.
The witness, now 44, said the duo promised to help with her budding music career and bragged about the powerful people they knew, including Prince Andrew and Donald Trump.
The disgraced socialite “seemed to know everybody,” Kate told the court.
“She was friends with Prince Andrew, friends with Donald Trump. Sometimes their names would just come up or she would be talking on the phone about them with me present,” the witness said.
On one occasion, Kate said, she was made to wear a schoolgirl outfit to have sex with Epstein at his Palm Beach, Fla., mansion.
Kate, who says she now works with women who suffer from trauma or substance abuse, testified that she only cut off contact with the late sex offender in her early 30s, after she became a mother.
Before the witness took the stand, Judge Alison Nathan instructed jurors that Kate was not a victim of the crimes charged in the indictment against Maxwell, since she was above the age of consent when she met Maxwell and Epstein.

Professors Face Prosecution for Study Finding Migrants Commit More Rapes.
Professors from Sweden’s Lund University are facing prosecution from the country’s Ministry of Education for their “ethics” behind a paper demonstrating how most rapes are committed by migrants.
Professor Kristina Sundquist and her colleagues are under investigation by the Board of Appeal for Ethical Review, a body that reports directly to the Swedish Ministry of Education, over whether or not they had “ethical license” to handle “sensitive data.”
The data in question relates to the identities of rapists in Sweden, which culminated in the paper “Swedish Rape Offenders — A Latent Class Analysis.”
The published results reveal that immigrants are disproportionately overrepresented in rape cases and commit the vast majority of sexual violence, though the authors did not originally set out to find a link between the variable and rape.
“Immigrants were just a variable, and it turned out to be quite a remarkable discovery as there were many immigrants and foreign-born people in this group,” said Professor Sundquist.
In light of these findings, the Swedish Ministry of Education’s body launched an investigation into whether or not the professor had “ethical permission” to “test the hypothesis if immigrants are overrepresented in statistics on convicted rapists.”
The scientists were also criticized for insufficient evaluation as they failed to indicate how their research should “reduce exclusion and improve integration.”
Professor Ardavan Khoshnood, co-author of the paper, responded by calling the prosecution a “shame,” adding that he and his colleagues – including an immigrant co-author – are accused of “conducting and publishing illegal research.”
“The purpose of the study was not to find out what immigration is like. Surprisingly, this variable turned out to be quite important, and we didn’t know in advance what the study would show. We wanted to create a profile of the perpetrator, to know who the typical perpetrator is,” he added.

"Absolute And Unmitigated Liars": Former DC National Guard Official Says Generals Fabricated January 6th Account
A former DC National Guard official has accused two senior Army officials of lying to Congress about the circumstances surrounding the January 6th Capitol riot in order to protect a top Army official who didn't want to send the Guard to the Capitol, Politico reports.
In a 36-page memo sent to the Jan. 6 select committee this month, Col. Earl Matthews - who held high-level National Security Council and Pentagon positions under Trump - accused Army General Charles Flynn and Lt. Gen. Walter Piatt of being "absolute and unmitigated liars" for how they characterized the events of Jan. 6.
Of note, Flynn served as deputy chief of staff for operations on Jan. 6, while Matthews was serving as the top attorney to Maj. Gen. William Walker - then commanding general of the DC National Guard. Matthews was in a unique position to know what happened that day.
Matthews’ memo defends the Capitol attack response by Walker, who now serves as the House sergeant at arms, amplifying Walker's previous congressional testimony about the hourslong delay in the military’s order for the D.C. National Guard to deploy to the riot scene. -Politico
Matthews accuses Flynn and Piatt of lying to Congress about how they responded to urgent requests for the DC guard to be quickly deployed, and claims that the Pentagon inspector general's November report on the attack was "replete with factual inaccuracies."
He says the Army has created its own 'closely held' revisionist document regarding the riot that's "worthy of the best Stalinist or North Korea propagandist.'
"Every leader in the D.C. Guard wanted to respond and knew they could respond to the riot at the seat of government," reads the memo.
Instead of responding, however, DC guard officials "set [sic] stunned watching in the Armory" while the attack unfolded for two hours during the certification of the 2020 election results.
The memo follows Walker’s own public call for the inspector general to retract its detailed report on the events of Jan. 6, as first reported by The Washington Post. Walker told the Post he objected to specific allegations by the Pentagon watchdog that Matthews’ memo also criticizes, calling the inspector general’s report “inaccurate” and “sloppy work.” -Politico
