I am reposting this because I was hoping it might be put in Notables. I believe that the assumptions about Q's photos from the China trip are wrong, and they are really showing islands much further north, off the coast of Dalian, across the bay from North Korea.

If these are the right islands near Dalian, then they flew and almost straight line from Beijing to PyongYang which turns out to be a very short distance for a 747. They could have easily made a pass over the center of North Korea and then made up time to get to the Vietnam visit on time. I think this was what people missed the first time. NK was really close by and there was no military security reason to prevent them overflying and having a look. Either they were able to disable NK radar systems, or they already had taken control of the military (killed rogue generals loyal to the CIA and replaced with loyal ones that were in on THE PLAN).

I've looked at this particularly the two Ninepin islands but when I compare that with Dachangshan and Xiaochangshan islands just 40-50 km northeast of the big harbor at the center of Dalian, they seem to be a closer match.

Also, it makes no sense for POTUS to travel south to HongKong and then north to NK. But it makes perfect sense to east from Beijing airport, over the peninsula a bit north of Dalian and then past those islands on a direct trajectory to PyongYang and onwards to the area that has that pyramid hotel in the middle of nowhere (Hyangsan)
