they crush the beans to retrieve the oil. the oil is being put in all kinds of food (scary shit). the residue meal is being used for to feed their live stock.
they already import huge amounts of beans from argi and brasil. the quality of those beans are also better than us beans (higher protein content)
most soyabean crop is already GMO crop especially in South America. mosanto have modified a roundup (glyfosaat) resistant beancrop. so that the farmers only have to spray the crop with roundup to exterminate the weeds. so they spray the beans with roundup and that crop will end up in the food chain. I dont trust that shit at all
