Lucifer is actually a man Satan inhabits,
a high ranking individual which Satan empowers to control vast numbers of people through deception and the sword of man.

The worst part,
is if a parent lies about this fantasy figure Santa,
then they' may start questioning if they lied about God/Jesus Christ, too.
Most of them do it because of tradition,

remembering when they believed.

Lies are not good.
For leaving his first estate,
Satan is in utter darkness,
able only to "speak" his lies through the mouth of men.
He will be cast into the Lake of Fire on Judgment Day.
